I arrived 4wks late. I took some of the vaccines in Nigeria, I did my CPR course in Canada, I don't think they'll accept it of you do it outside Canada. I'd advice you to take your immunization in Nigeria and come with the record cos it's quite expensive if you decide to get it in a private pharmacy here.

I'm glad you found it helpful 😊. It all depends on the school requirements. It's very competitive to get into, you have to check with your school of choice. University of Manitoba is a good one, their tuition is affordable compared to most schools. Also check university of Prince Edwards Island (I think it's the most affordable of them all). Yes you can but it can't really go a long way. You can make lots of money in summer if you work really hard but you can't really make so much when you're back in school cos the program is very intense.

So with the link, I was directed to the IRCC portal for it and my school kinda guided me through it with a a tutorial. But you can definitely apply for it on the IRCC website alongside your visa application cos the wait time is as long as Visa wait time. Go onto the IRCC website search bar and just type co-op permit or follow a link provided by your school and you can go from there.

I have done so much research on schooling in Canada as an international student but this particular questions I don’t get answers to it .please my question is, can I use the diploma in midwifery Certificate ( nursing) to apply for LPN in Canada especially colleges ..Or I will have to use my WAEC to apply for it or use both.. few schools I checked last time were accepting diploma or degree or even HND but most schools require WAEC ..so please I’d like to ask if you can still use your certificate in health sciences (Diploma or Degree Certificate) to apply even if the school did not state in the requirements..? Secondly, my question is I know students studying nursing go for clinical placement during breaks, please I would like to ask if student can still work on their part time job to be able to raise money while they also go for their placement at the same time ..because base on my research on some colleges Clinical Placement cost is the student responsibility.. Hi Edna, for colleges in Canada, you basically need WAEC, your university certificate or any other certification is just a plus. I also think you should check the requirements of the school you intend going to, you can also email them to get a first hand information. Yes you can do your part-time job during your clinical placement but it's very tedious. I have a video coming up on list of affordable schools to apply to for practical nursing plus their tuition.

Hi, yes you get the long summer break off school but I guess it depends on when you resume your program. I don't think you'd get a summer break if you start your program in Spring. Just try and resume I'm Fall (Sept) or Winter (January) so you can work as much you want in summer. @[e-mail]
