I was always curious about the "other brands" as far as if there are any "diamonds in the rough" or hidden gems at lower prices, but it is risky purchasing one.

Started with a Veikk 2200 Pro cuz it was a steal at around $200 for a used 22" drawing display but a few months later had driver issues and the display was no longer recognized and nobody on Reddit had a solution for months. Definitely not worth buying from cheaper brands since you never know when something could go wrong and be left stranded.

Only started watching around a month ago when i was looking up what my first drawing tablet should be but i gotta say I LOVE this style of video. Your commentary and this presentation style with notes on the screen really makes the information easy to take in. This is easily my favorite channel for drawing tablets and even after buying my first drawing tablet (Kamvas 13 gen 3) I still keep watching the new vids just because of how good they are. Keep it up dude👍

@@Yes917 I’m really glad you liked the format. I was a bit concerned when I started creating my videos that this format wouldn’t be appealing to people. Because after all, all I’m doing is talking while showing a PowerPoint slide deck. So thanks again for the nice comment.

I often here from artists that tablets are better than displays from ergonomics and posture point... Does ergo arm mount make a big difference? I never had a chance to test cintiq on arm mount for a long time, but having it on stand and looking down on it is really not so great for neck.

In my opinion tablets are better ergonomically, even if you had a Cintiq with the arm, it still seems superior for posture, but it seems that when you want higher precision the Cintiq display style has a slight advantage.

I own a Cintiq and currently a Huion Kamvas 24 Pro 4k and I've had both on monitor arms. Yes, a monitor arm does make a noticeable difference in posture & comfort as it allows you to position it at a comfortable height, distance, and angle. Just as it is more comfortable drawing on a drafting table, it is more comfortable drawing on a tablet mounted on a monitor arm with the right height, angle, and distance. Plus, if your cables are long enough, having a monitor arm allows you to move the tablet out the way and frees up desk space. It is important to know the weight of the tablet and the vesa mount pattern if it has one when buying a monitor arm, as you need to be sure the monitor arm can support the tablet and be stable when you're drawing on it.

@@SketchPLAY1 yes, I agree. Advantages of Cintiqs are pretty obvious, while flaws in ergonomics and neck pain are not... Working at work on Cintiq with stand I get tired very fast, while with Intous at home it's not a problem at all. In theory arm mount should be great, giving you ability to adjust not only angle of screen, but also slide it forward/back and up/down to find best possible posture. Question is if you can work in comfy position with huge 24-27" display... When you work with whole arm, with big strokes on big screen I'm not sure you will be able to keep your back and neck relaxed on the chair, as you can with Intuos.

Sometimes I use my screen tablet as a regular one (with stand) and it's the most ergonomic thing I've ever tried. It's also cool to have references on it.

@@lucid8302 I do this also with my huion kamvas 22 its great having the flexibility but when my neck starts hurting I switch to using it as a tablet.
