Regarding the 'Spin the Record' scenario, firstly, they should have discussed values/beliefs before getting into a relationship or at least in the early stages so, they're both on the same page. I'm assuming that since she's waiting till marriage that's she a Christian or at least religious in some aspect. Dating 2 years now, and he's changed his mind and you don't how to communicate that to him... Advice: Don't compromise and sleep with him because he now wants too, the right man will wait till marriage and for the right reasons.

Regarding the scenario on Spin the Record I think sometimes as a Christian woman you’d think that you’re on the same page as your partner because you are both waiting for the one and the right time. So for her the one is her husband and the right time is marriage but for her boyfriend it’s any time he feels really safe and secure with the person he is with at the time. After being together for two years you’d obviously believe that this is the one and it’s okay to take the next step but they have different views on the next step because for her it’s marriage (I’d like to think so) and him it’s sex. It’s safe to say that they need to actually talk about this before they actually meet up in person and see if they will still be on the “same page” or not to avoid any problems going forward.

Totally agree. If she's the one, marry her then. But if he doesn't want marriage, that might be the wrong thing to do. A woman wants a man to marry her because he wants to. Not by force.

For the dialemma, I think of he was willing to wait for the RIGHT PERSON, he’ll be willing to WAIT for the right person. It’s going to be a difficult conversation to bring up but I don’t think it should be a difficult conversation to have because they’ve already been waiting a year.

I relate to having to compromise in a relationship with someone who is in the world so when I went on a prayer walk recently, Holy Spirit said “ in a relationship with a worldly partner they will always be an expectation of compromising. You will always be expected to compromise your Godliness to satisfy their worldly desires.” I’ve never understood something so clearly and that’s why it never works out

If I was within this situation I think going into prayer and fasting would be a way to leave it within Gods hands as through letting God lead you to potentially speak out in wisdom and to not lean on my own understanding when explaining and opening up to the person as well as pray that God may open up their heart to see what I seek isn't only something that I value but something they should value I'm with not negotiate our faith God bless you both thank you this video has really confirmed things to me as well as opened up my eyes to a new perspective and reminded me of things that can easily been forgotten

It seems a specific discussion was not had. I"m hearing that there was no agreement regarding the purpose of the relationship and the purpose of abstinence. It has been two years. Does he see her as someone he wants to marry? Because if not, she will not be fulfilled in the relationship (on the basis that marriage is her desire).
