How much time per week do you think is necessary? I’m looking for more than a side hustle, but I don’t need to make $100K either. How do other working teachers (especially with kids or other hobbies) find the time? Here, it’s near impossible to not do teacher work in the evenings.

Could you do stuff in the summer or restructure your assignments a bit to take less time for grading? I'm actually not a teacher, but my youngest kid graduated this year.... both could have done just fine if teachers structured things so that 90% of the time everything was done in class.... which would also mean the teachers could have used the time spent on assignments grading or doing other necessary tasks until someone needed help. Their favorite teachers all did this and it helped anxiety levels and stress all the way around. And then plan during planning periods and you wind up with less homework too. Not going to be much help if you mean coaching or something on evening teacher work, but maybe can help with the other stuff.
