You should really look in to downloading and installing BMW ISTA it’s a dealer factory software that can do all . That tool you got is ok for minor faults but it won’t be much help especially as you get in to more serious stuff . I own a same car and trust me ISTA will be your best friend with this car . ECU s on F chassis are so much more advanced and complicated then on E series . To install ISTA it’s not hard just google it .

​@@PracticalEnthusiast ISTA is a must. Buy K+DCAN cable as well it will diagnose E and F chassis. ENET cable can do more but it will be a little harder to setup. For programming and coding F chassis You want to check E-SYS software. I am assuming that You know about realoem website :D

That scanner is basic. When you get "Transport Mode active" it means the battery is or was very low in charge/voltage that it activated it so the car wouldn't die completely. A very low battery drainage can cause plenty of error code for that reason. This scanner is basic and not enough to fully fix things. For example, on your TPMS indicators for the BMW F10. It shows green tires and it states "Active" but you are missing the tire pressure (psi) measurements and tire temperature indicators showing above each tire and with that you will need a more advanced ECU coding scantool to activate those missing features! Had a $400 scan tool that was great but still was limited and offer plenty of details when figuring BMW issues but still not enough. Bought a $800 scan tool that retails for $1,300 that has everything to code a BMW easily and that scanner was able to initialized my new headlight TMS control module, coded my new rear EDC shocks/struts (without coding them the car disables SPORT & SPORT+ modes and the car is very stiff. Also was able to do HPFP (high pressure fuel pump) reset & Vanos reset as well adjust the idle speed correctly! Works amazing with any Toryota and Mazda cars too The scanner was worth every penny!

Only diagnostic tool that should be used for bmws newer than e60/e90 generation is diagnostic PC with the program INPA and ISTA

you can buy pre made pcs with the program and the proper cables online. oy really is the ONLE tool that should be used for these generations for bmws. Carly and all other tools are no good

That scanner you are sponsored by is just a nobrand scanner they have put their name on and can be found cheaper other places. My fried has the exact same one with a different logo on it, for 110$. But its best for e46/e39 generation and older
