I had a 2004 ZX10R which was a much more feral beast than the 2006, more to my liking. It had a full race exhaust and a track focussed ECU upgrade. I took it to 299 kph plus twice, they only read up to 299 but it was still going strong after that. Not the best bike I ever had but certainly the fastest, wish I never sold it.

Great video! Working on trying to figure out my fuel level issues as well. Do you know if the 89 has two? And if you get a fuel pump, does it usually come with a sending unit?

Is it the same for the Audi A3 2010 8P, the left side of the driver's side doesn't blow, very poorly and the right side a little better...?

Hi, Just a quick note - I had a n intermittent fault on the main sender (mine is only 1 x sender). To remove the oval shaped tube I drilled holes in one edge of each crimped recess. I was the able to insert a small screwdriver and prise the remaining crimped section proud of the top housing. The tube slid off really easily and there was sufficient material left to re-crimp once done. I was able to clean the inside with brake cleaner aerosol and took some very fine grit paper to the wiper contacts on the float as well as the empty level switch contact faces. Back in the car and all looks 100% again.

very nice, great job. any special tricks on getting bikes on the trailer. did you have to have a special ramp? or the one with trailer is fine? and, did you have few friends help to get the bikes on trailer?

The trailer has a built in ramp and it works great. I loaded the bikes on by myself.

I can see 3 screw adjustments round the throttle body. (Has anybody messed with any of these? None of mine are touching the throttle cable tab. Idles perfect cold then when it's warmed up the idle goes low it wants to turn off. Thanks for the video.

I was experiencing the same issue with the car popping out of first gear (very unnerving and keeps me on edge🙂), I spent over year looking into the issue, I ended up replacing my Compression Return Spring with a new one. my car came with a single spring and the new part is a double spring arrangement (I'm not sure if it's the same with north American cars but the symptoms are exactly the same) The new spring makes depressing the clutch pedal "softer", I felt the original spring was a little too heavy for my liking and it wasn't that heavy in my previous f10 manual, it took my brain 2 drives to adapt to the new spring weight, I don't have to concentrate so much with making sure I've got the car in first gear before pulling away, i much prefer the lighter pedal, i do know that some drivers prefer the heavier clutch pedal but this makes it more enjoyable for me and i don't feel like the car will pop out of gear anymore, i did also remove the clutch delay valve a few months ago and i also added a thicker (about 5-6mm) clutch pedal stop, i did try to post a link to a KZbin short i did but the post might have been removed, anyways thought this might help you too, I've enjoyed your f10 content👍🙂

Thank you for the information! I'll have to check it out because I can't say for sure which spring mine is equipped with. As for the new pedal stop, wouldn't a thicker stop cause the pedal travel to be shorter and result in a clutch that doesn't disengage to the full extent?
@MrFabeRick
@MrFabeRick 14 күн бұрын
@PracticalEnthusiast Cheers, no problem, the thicker pedal stop is more for the "dead zone" after clutch engagement, there's somewhat of a large gap from where the clutch engages to where the pedal buttoms out, this might be something you'll need to experiment with to see if it feels right for your driving style for me it significantly reduces the amount wasted space after clutch engagement 👍🙂

They're excellent cars I have zero regrets buying mine only thing I'd say is if you wanna do a ton of mods and push 600 horsepower this ain't the car for you. Don't get me wrong the motor will do the same thing the 335s can but the added weight def hurts the performance, also compared to the old N54 and new B58 the N55 doesn't respond to the classic downpipe and tune as well. You'll get an extra 50-60 hp, a whole lot of torque, and it will sound heavenly but they're never gonna make the numbers an N54 or B58 can.

Very tastefully built K6. Props to them for not cutting the mudflap! Just FYI, if you have the genuine Suzuki service manual, they will usually have an illustration outlining the OEM routing for brake/throttle cables, harnesses, etc.

so many cables to bury.. why are the cables so long for a "Motorcycle Dash Cams"? Kinda pissed, under the seat is PACKED rolled up cable. Ridiculous. Come on VanTrue.. give us a cable length option please? If you have a big 'ol Goldwing you can bury lotsa cable.. on a naked, all I got is under the seat. Three 10 ft. extension cables?? Come on. What's with that stupid stick on control panel with that huge 10 ft cable? Maybe I can eliminate Two ten footers if I put the main unit in the headlight?
@markhall3434
@markhall3434 28 күн бұрын
Nope.. stuck with the HUGE control panel cable, 10 footer.. hardwired at the control panel end. I may have to cut that one and splice. Why so many wires with only a couple buttons and lights. If I can get the main unit within a foot of the front camera, that extension cable can be eliminated. This is ridiculous.

Discontinue the ZX7R was a proof that Kawasaki had no idea or marketing perception or voice of customer study about what such bike was representing. A stupid white colar decision instead of improving it.
