These are very valuable rules for anybody who wants to get rich. Unfortunately, most people who will watch this video will not really be able to apply the principles. We may not want to admit, but as Warren Buffett once said, investing is like any other profession-- it requires a certain level of expertise. No surprise that some people are losing a lot of money in the bear market, while others are making hundreds of thousands in profit. I just don't know how they do it. I have about $89k now to put in the market.

Understanding personal finances and investing will most likely lead to greater financial independence. By being knowledgeable about money and investing, individuals can make informed decisions about how to save, spend, and invest their money. I know someone who made over $350k in this recession influenced market, but to the best of my knowledge, it was through a financial advisor.

Yeah, financial advisors could make a lot of difference, particularly in a market such as this. Stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are a lot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look. I have been using an FA since 2019, and I return at least $21k ROI, and this does not include capital gain.

Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Financial management is a crucial topic that most tend to shy away from, and ends up haunting them in the near future. Putting our time and effort in activities and investments that will yield a profitable return in the future is what we should be aiming for. Success depends on the actions or steps you take to achieve it. "You're not going to remember those expensive shoes you bought ten years ago, but you will remember every single morning when you look at your bank account that extra 0 in there. I promise, that's going to be way more fun to look at everyday", I pray that anyone who reads this will be successful in life

The Savings Rate just collapsed down to 2.2%, the lowest level ever. Means Americans are running out of money. Last time it was this low was 2006-07. Right before GFC. Major Recession Warning. Expect a big decline in consumer spending in 2023. In five years, I would be retiring or working less hours, so I'm just curious about how people divide their income-specifically, how much goes to investments, savings, and consumption. It's not about spending less... it's about getting those things that you spend on, to somehow make you more money. Conservatism is nice; but it doesn't lead to true wealth. True wealth is FEELING ABUNDANT. Whatever I want I can have as long as I'm smart enough or whatever to make it happen. In time, this new way of being becomes second nature. You buy things that are MORE EXPENSIVE oftentimes, because they last longer, are just made of higher quality. Your actual and your feeling state begin to match and work off one another. Simple example, is to buy a nice leather jacket. Take care of it... then find a way to use it to make even more money. Maybe rent it out to someone going out on a date; but KEEP THE ASSET. But you also don't turn down deals. You negotiate your RECURRING BILLS to be less every month. You purchase a used car not from a dealership; but maybe from an auction, or one of those estate sales. The wealthy think in terms of BOTH or ALL; not I have to choose between this or that. At first, yes... you will have to do that as you gain skills; but in time, your mindset shifts. You earn more, you find more money, people give you gifts, you get special deals you weren't expecting, the housing market crashes and you can buy up property pennies on the dollar. You just become much wiser, and learn to TIME THE CYCLES. Everything has it's season. It may be for centuries, or for an hour or so. Know the cycles, and you gain a great advantage. This is the way of the TRILLIONAIRE MINDSET. Peace, Love, and Light Be well and take care, ~ Dave M. ~ 🌹

You could have stopped at rule 1. A lot of people, myself included, believe that money solves many of life's problems. However, we either disregard or are oblivious to the stress we create with our relationships within our families. I long to put my kid in private school for a better future, but I never see my kid, thus omitting the upbringing that should be implemented at an early age. We are blinded by how we view money, but never consider the time spent to make said money can be used to create memories and establish life long lessons and commitments towards our family and peers.

Best narration on KZbin.. but the title - 7 Money Rules The Rich Don't Want You To Know - sounds so class warfare. Most rich people I know would rather people know and practice good habits with money. While it's true that a minimum wage job won't get you ahead, bad money habits definitely prevent you from getting ahead. Most of the rich I know actually try to help others with how to handle their finances. Billionaires and multimillionaires typically are very busy running firms - unless retired - but I bet there is a person in your neighborhood who can help.. and it does take someone else helping you to start out on the right path.

The ONLY time rich people buy expensive stuff is number one, if they are into it (you love watches, you buy one of your favorites as to reward yourself) or if they have a job , where they've got to show, where you can get, as in you can earn A LOT of money here.

That idea about not going on the vacation wouldn't sit well with a truly wealthy person. Truly wealthy people don't have this hang up about not mixing business with pleasure. Their business is PART of their pleasure! So, they go on vacation, and then sell a million dollar yacht. The other thing that switches over, is that the wealthy stop CHASING; and clients COME TO THEM, SEEK THEM OUT NO MATTER WHERE THEY ARE IN THE WORLD. OPPORTUNITY COMES BEGGING. But this is at a level where you love what you do and have been doing it for long enough that you have become nearly irreplaceable. You aren't working for a boss... your in big business or investing, or have a ton of property and go traveling whenever you want. You don't get there by squeezing as much as you can out of the pie; but by making the pie larger and making more pies!

Banks take your deposit and then through the magic of fractional banking create currency at multiples of your deposit and lend those created funds out as credit. Example you deposit 10 usd the bank creates 100 usd (or whatever the fractional reserve rate is at the time) and lends out 90 usd in credit (10 to 1 in this example). It also collects interest on the 90 usd only paying you interest on the 10 usd in reserve you deposited.

Sir: first of all, let me say that I enjoy your videos and have learned a number of things over time from you. That said, I feel the need to call you out on the title of this one. The video offers a lot of great advice, but you fail to state why "the rich" don't want anybody knowing these things. I know a number of people most would describe as rich, and I feel I'm pretty well off myself, and one of the traits I have found to be almost universal among people with money is a willingness -- even eagerness -- to share their knowledge so others can prosper too. Of the 7 rules you listed, what benefit would anyone gain by keeping any of them a secret? The answer is none. I think if you renamed this video "7 Money Rules of the Wealthy" or "7 Money Rules the Rich Would Share if You Asked," not only would it be more accurate, but would generate just as many views as trying to appeal to the KZbin audience via division. There are enough people out there disparaging "The Rich," and usually it's in support of an ulterior motive. Don't be that way.

Rich people in my country have more bills too because of taxes. Our asian country asks so much taxes. You own a restaurant? You have a yearly tax on mayor's office+ tax on the Internal revenue govt office. Rich people need to manage money: plan & distribute the big money they have. It came to a point people here have not just 1 business. If they can have 2, 3 or more, they go for that. Some are profits. Some are for taxes. Some of the money to pay employees, some of it to pay utilities like electricity, water, internet etc.

The Fruit Loops colors don't taste different? That's hard to believe.but it's true. But that begs the question of why the Fruit Loop pieces have different colors. The answer is, the Fruit Loop people know you will be more inclined to buy colored Fruit Loops rather than non-ciolored Fruit Loops and will pay more for them. And the Fruit Loop corporation will have your money and money does make a corporation happy.
