Practice at Oakhill on the National Track 6-4-2011

Ethan at Oakhill raceway in Decatur Tx. We were there to practice the National track for the Ponca City Qualifier coming up on June 25-26. This day was Ethan's first time on this track and he was trying to learn it. We were running hard pack tires and now realize that we probably need to switch to an intermediate or sand tire for this track. Anyways, at the end of this video Ethan finds a kicker on a small jump that dumps him on his head. The helmet cam snapped off so it looks worse than it was. He had the wind knocked out of him and landed on his shoulder pretty hard but is otherwise okay.

@stacker97 Yep, the same one. But, it's not that big, but it's very sandy (at least on the day we were there.)

@tripp169 We backed off riding after the Oakhill wreck and were getting ready for the fall season when Ethan broke his arm playing football. It was on a Thursday before the opening races that weekend. He goes in this Friday to get it removed. We will probably rahab for a couple of weeks before he actually get back into a race, but we start riding again this weekend if the weather permits.

Ya WOW sand is some hard stuff to ride in if your not use to it. Man I wish i could ride with you Ethan but my wrist is a little broken right now. I'll keep watching your videos though and remember ... When i doubt, throttle out

Is this the oakhill where like cooper webb races? Isnt oakhill pretty big??? thats like the pros for little bikes :)?
