I have a question: do you wash your calligraphy brushes after using them, or dry them with paper, or just do nothing and let them dry naturally with the ink on the hairs?

I dry it with my napkin to get rid of excess ink, then I rinse it in the cup. This way, there is not too much ink come out. Then I dry it with napkin again. That is it. The main reason is to not let go too much color into waterway. As I use it often, I do not wash with running water, neither with soap. It was really quick, simple and brief. If you use it sparsely, maybe you want to rinse a couple more times. But it does not have to be super clean. By the way, it is good to talk to you here.
