1:54 Does this writing style have a name? I'm sure it has some rules it abides to, but it looks like a rushed mess with lines missing.

Good question - looks like it may derive from, or be influenced by, a style of SHODO (Japanese calligraphy). There are several different styles including 'KAISHO' (square style), 'GYOSHO' (semi-cursive) and 'SOSHO' (cursive). Not an expert in this area so really hard to say which style though.😁 Thanks so much for watching.👍
