A tip for people -- if you're going to be practicing putting with a chalk line and stuff in the same spot for a long, long time. Put a towel down under where you're standing. This will significantly help protect the greens. You'd be surprised how much your feet can wear down a spot on the green from standing and shuffling in one spot for too long, even with spikeless shoes.

Luke Thelen after..key is the finish by swinging upright to the left. Wes is the same but obviously a little more polished being on tour. The action creates a nice flat spot at the bottom of the swing as the hips are cleared. Very nice indeed.

You should do a video with you and Wesley strictly on how to dial in your wedges. I think that’s what every average golfer struggles with the most is dialing in that 100 yard in shot and you guys are really good at it! Would probably take me from the 90s to the 80s pretty quick 😂
@SuperCriminal164 жыл бұрын
I really like this style of video, however in the future if you could explain how to set up the stations, that would be awesome. Especially the technical station you had set up on the wedge range.

Useful practice session. The driving part really expresses the importance of swinging within yourself. A slight variation in tempo changes results somewhat. I gather you have a feel for tempo since your consistency is your strength. Thanks

George, can you explain why you don’t break your arms on your follow through? Thanks!
@VivaLaGolf424 жыл бұрын
My guess is to play a cut fade, and to keep from over releasing the club at/after impact, and it keeps the follow through on plane too. I had a problem over releasing and having a steep/high follow through so that’s my guess.
@Backshopgolf3 жыл бұрын
for your wedges is it a feel for you to gauge yardages in your swing or is it like a clock swing where you know getting your hands to 8 oclock is 45 yards?
@MM-zb9kc4 жыл бұрын
I wish more places had a wedge range. Most just use the regular range and set up one flag at 50 and then you have to find places around it for different distances.
