Hey Paul, You are so right about the need to practice. I happen to be reasonably ambidextrous, which makes it a lot easier to change hands and go the other direction. But I have a young guy I work with that is left handed and he has a LOT of trouble trying to TIG weld right handed. Scott.

+scott carr Welding is a lot like golf. You have to play it as it lays. (So to speak lol)

+Adventures in Welding! Hey Paul, You are right again. If you have a problem TIG welding with your "weak" hand, then you need to practice with that hand so that you can do any job that comes your way. This other guy I work with, when he tries to weld with his right hand he shakes quite a lot. there is one job we both do at work, Tig welding Stellite on shear blades where you have to weld from BOTH ends to control heat related stretching. So there is a real need to be able to use either hand. Or you have to use some kind of "backhand" technique.

Maybe you should start a golf channel because your welding ability is below "par"

He kept laying his bare arms on the table. I was hoping we would get to see him get the living shit shocked out of him.

A for effort but you should not be teaching welding. I have watched a couple of your videos and you should be watching videos, not making them. Practice makes perfect - you have a little more practicing to do before you teach anyone. Again, A for effort but none of your welding would pass a welding test.
