@@matthewroberts157 Sorry, no, not the students. They would take a lot long a good couple of hours. I thought you were asking about myself. I had to get quick at carving when getting paid by the letter. It would be great for you to start carving letters I always love to see a well-carved memorial stone in some nice Welsh slate maybe.

Did you have any stone background before doing this. How long did it take before you became any good

Hi, my background is working with stone in a dry stone wall style, no carving. I was dry stone walling for 7 years before starting to carve. I would say the thing that helped me the most is being dyslexic. It's always been a positive when being creative.
