Are there videos that people make to teach geoguesser, or give tips, I've seen a lot of channels playing geoguesser and I've thrown my hat in the ring, but don't know how to get much better than I am. Just play more?

Playing a lot of games and learning from your mistakes helps a lot, I recommend A diverse world for practicing. And on top of that there are quite a few videos/documents out there that focus on teaching. Look for Geoguessr tutorial videos that talk about number plates, google car, road lines, driving side, language etc.
