This was interesting! I don't read Thoth, but this technique is definitely something I think I want to try with my RWS (or Marseille) decks.

@@-NiamhWitch- There's something really satisfying about this technique, I have to say. It helps me to understand the layers of what's being communicated a little better? I don't think it's always necessary but it's definitely useful. I recommend doing more reading about it because lort knows I didn't explain it with any sort of depth.

@RoaenHere 100%! That second read about the sick mother is a hard one. My best friend is going through it right now. It is a good time for encouragement because it's very much a stasis situation. All you can do is all you can do, and the rest is all about time. No one can really say how long the disease will take to do its work. I think the Hierophant speaks to the medical establishment in this case, all the paperwork that has to be done, and the rules and regulations they must follow.

I love the way you read cards. I want to buy TM but have to wait… (no stock in the EU rn) but I backed the Telos Kickstarter and have the regular Thoth and the Marea Tarot to explore. I'm in the process of a Thoth study with Don Milo Duquettes (?that does not seem to be the correct spelling...😬). I've only read the chapters leading up to the actual cards so all the esoteric parts. It was a hard read and now I'm stuck because it feels like I don't have the mental capacity for it. This was interesting and gave me a kick in the bootie to sit down and just do it because it is so worth it. Thx! Ps. I will check back for comments from Thoth readers. I'm curious about others' input.

The Telos, is that the 777 deck? I decided that one wasn't for me at this time, but I'm glad it funded (it funded, right?). What size of the TM do you think you'll get? I kind of want the biggest one now but I can't justify that at all. And will you get the book? I find the book DENSE. AS. HELL. It's tough to get through, I've barely made it past the first paragraph, ngl. I'm also learning Thoth with LMDQ, and I agree about hitting a plateau in the book once you get to the card meanings, lol. I also stalled out there, for at least a week. I'm glad to be the kick in the butt that gets you back into it! And thank you for the lovely compliment 🥺🙏
