Prada beauty is my favorite line now. I think the products have color adaptive properties and any product is going to complement any person. The brushes are fantastic. Oh thanks so much for pointing out the oxidation of the foundation, because I was interested in buying it and now not anymore just because I can’t stand oxidation and looking like an orange 🍊 I got the new Louboutin liquid foundation and it’s stays true to its initial shade no oxidation and it’s a nice medium buildable coverage with natural finish, I’m loving it!

I also wanted to mention that I really like your hair clipped up in a half up style when you show the further back shot during your lip swatches. Prada foundation is one of my favorites. Thanks Lexi for doing the swatches of the eyeshadow palettes. The pop of color seems to throw me off and even though I’m not sure I’d use that color much, the others are lovely. I love lip products and have over purchased last year so I need to be picky. These are tempting, especially the soft matte but would like a neutral color .⭐️✨

Yes agree Prada eyeshadow is more "wow" than Hermes. I bought #3 at launch and it's lovely. I wanted #2, but shied away from it. I ended up just getting it recently and I'm loving the foundation which I got LN10. I know I'm a shade darker than you, but that LN5 really looks more me. I have a couple lipsticks in the hyper matte formula as well and I'm pleased.

Yay I'm glad you're trying this!! The foundation is a bit dry imo but I really like it still - just need to mix it with something more hydrating. I have drier skin and it's fine everywhere except near my nose and mouth, so I'll make sure to blend it with a super hydrating foundation there.

Hi Lexi, another fantastic overview of this brand. I don't know if it will be carried at Sephora US only but what a great secondary option for you. I can't get over how beautiful the metallic shimmers are, so smooth and reflective. The e/s colour combinations are really interesting and somehow just work when applied. Excellent review!! I do have the hyper matte lipstick in ultra violet. I didn't want to love it, but I do! It's not drying and doesn't bleed into the lines on my lips. I use it every day. If I do get the palettes, I'd go with 2 and 3 for black, red and silver.

I love your look today. You look great in bright lipstick bc of your light hair and fair complexion. I have the purple compact and want to get #4 now. I have bought 4 foundations from Selfridges just to get the right shade bc I love it so much. I thought I would be LN 15 or 25 but ended up being MN 45. It’s so worth it though. Honestly I can wear almost all 4 shades bc it blends so well and oxidizes slightly. I’m not going to send them back to Selfridges bc I got the full size for $45 and the refill for $38 on sale. Such a great deal! Thanks for the inspiration Lexi!

Hi Lexi. Thank you for creating this video. I definitely want to pick up the foundation and a few of the shadow palettes and lipsticks. Seeing your swatches is going to help a lot of people avoid choosing foundations and lipsticks that end up being much different than what they expected. I really wanted the foundation. Now I am wondering if their lightest and coolest one will even be suitable for me. I think it's worth taking the risk though. For lipsticks, I am interested in Pourpre and that first Nude matte you showed.

I bought palette #2 when they first came out and I love it! I agree about the colors you can get. If you layer the silver tone on top of the yellow, it makes a beautiful light gold shade. I will have to pick up another. Thank you for your demos!

Hi Lexi! What a great endorsement for Prada Beauty! I understand better why you rate them higher than Hermes eyeshadows. I was considering the latter but I will opt instead for Prada eyeshadows. I want to wait until the Tiepolo lipstick shade comes back in stock (the most popular). I thank you for another great video highlighting Prada makeup. (I hope Sephora Canada will eventually start carrying Prada - it might depend on how well the brand does at Sephora US.)

Great review, the foundation colors do need some work. I was able to find a shade but i ended up with two like you did. I’ll have to find an adjuster to neutralize the shade that’s off. I’m looking forward to trying the new lip colors. I also ordered from selfridges, but part way through the year i noticed duties are now being added to the orders, where as before they were not. I can’t figure out what’s changed. 😊

I have incredibly DRY skin- I really love this foundation. I didn't notice any oxidation when used with YSL blur expert primer- because of my dry skin- its the only primer I use this time of year- not sure if that made a difference or not. I did have some on an arm swatch- I also use LN5 and the Fupa 2 goat hair

Very helpful review- I’ve been considering purchasing an eye palette. Since the individual eyeshadow price point is similar, I’m wondering how the Prada eyeshadow formula ( say pearl or shimmer) compares to the Addiction Tokyo formula- I’d love to hear your comparison opinion.

I think it depends what you are looking for. I love the Addiction shadows but their shimmers are more subtle and less metallic. Formula-wise, Prada is creamier while Addiction is silkier. I personally think it would be worth getting one Prada quad and one or two one-and-done shades from Addiction to cover all your bases (depending of course on what you already have). I personally wear the shade Flashback a lot from Addiction as it is a beautiful taupe. The Prada will be more intense in general than Addiction and Addiction has some glittery shades while so far Prada does not have any glitter.

The palettes are so gorgeous. I have the green, yellow, and orange. The only one I won’t pick up is the pink, probably. I think the different finishes are my favorite thing about them. I actually love the different finishes in the Hermes as well. Thank you for showing demos of the foundation, especially how bad it oxidizes! That’s totally unacceptable. The givenchy concealer did the same thing to me. I thought it looked amazing, and then when I caught my reflection as I was heading out the door, I was orange. I loved the formula of the concealer so I tried a cool shade, but then that was too visibly orange. I’m just too neutral for those types of base products. Maybe I’ll buy a refill during the spring Sephora sale, but I’m not letting my expectations get away from me.

I haven't worn the Guerlain in a while since I didn't have a good color match (gave it to my cousin who was a match) so I can't say I am perfectly accurate with it but I remember that one being a bit more powdery. Texture is a similar consistency. The Cle de Peau matte is very slightly thicker than the Prada and has more coverage. I think the Cle de Peau looks a bit more matte on the skin than the prada.

Hi Lexi, Prada makeup is not available in Australia and I don’t buy luxury makeup online. But looking at the pictures I’m not crazy about the colour story. For me the Hermes eyeshadows are much more wearable than Prada. If I compare the formula from Hermes eyeshadows with Chanel, Dior, Chantecaille Tom Ford and Guerlain, Hermes is out of this world. I’m happy that they are refillable and one refill is $110 which is better than $175/quad (australian dollar). My unpopular opinion is that for me Hermes has the best eyeshadows ever and the worst price ever. But is Hermes, so no surprise here! 😂 Also I liked their mascara from the beginning but now I love it. Very easy to apply/remove, doesn’t clump, no transfer, holds the curls and makes me look like I have much more lashes. By the way, they have the eyelash curler available. Because in Australia the price for the eyelash curler is $147 (triple if I compare with Chanel or Dior) I think I can wait at least to see a review. But at this price point I’m not sure if I’ll find a review. 😁

I'm really glad you love the Hermes. I love the Hermes mascara too! I think it's really amazing and I like the quads but just personally love these a lot more, especially because as you said, they have the worst price! Lol. If I see the eyelash curler on sale sometime, I plan on picking it up.

Here is never on sale. Totally different subject, I bought a few Rae Morris makeup brushes (for face) and they are very, very good. Looking at the price point Sonia G is like a bargain. 🤣 So far I have 30 eye brushes and 16 face brushes (for blush and powder) from different brands. I never used bronzer and highlighter but now I consider to buy a bronzer and, of course, 2 more brushes for bronzer. Thanks Good I just like powder formula for eyeshadows and blushes. I’m not sure if I have enough brushes (probably not) and maybe you should do a video about how many brushes should have somebody who is not a makeup artist, collector or influencer. Good quality brushes are a serious investment and I think it will be very helpful for people like me who enjoy makeup maybe not daily but several times a week. 🙂

I am so EPICALLY disappointed that the foundation has SPF!! I’m allergic to chemical SPF and I break out almost immediately. If you are shopping from the US, I prefer Selfridges with the Global shipping option because it is more effective for a year. However if you are placing a one-time order, Harrods sometimes sells things that Selfridges does not have. The shipping last time I ordered was about $30 from Harrods so I order from there sparingly. Harrods has 10% off weekends fairly often so sign up for their emails if you are interested in shopping there. Selfridges doesn't really have many sales except at the end of the year and one in the summer iirc.

There's quite a jump between LN5 and LN10. I have LN5 and it seems to work ok for me, albeit leaning a tad warm with oxidation, I'm a bit wary of buying LC5 in case the undertone is too pink. I actually like this foundation, just wish the coverage was a bit fuller. But I find it wears better than Tom Ford shade & illuminate

I got the Selfridges yearly shipping to buy Suqqu so I got my Prada beauty there when it first came out. I am just about to start my second bottle of the foundation in LW5. I love it so much, I have to make myself wear anything else. And it works equally well in the summer and winter for me which never happens!! I have combo/oily skin. I love, love, love the hyper matte lipstick. I have 5 of them now. (B01 Argile is my favorite too, but 077 Arancio was also a fall staple) I really want to try the soft matte. I’ll definitely try one of the new nudes. I have 2 quads-the one with the purple and the one with the orange. I just love how they’ve put these together and the formulas are absolutely sensational. I really want to get the one with the yellow/chartreuse next and then the one with the green. I have oily lids but these LAST on me. I just love them so much! I cannot wait until they release more products like blushes and bronzers, etc. because so far their formulas blow me away!

I love my #2 palette. But I think the "pop of color" became the meme that scared people away, because nobody tried mixing the yellow or red with the other shades to get a new shade. The yellow MIXED with the top taupe shade is a nice day look.
