Every Prada fragrance is an 8, 9 or 10. You cannot go wrong with any of them and I own them all. Perfect fragrance house. I even have the older less popular stuff like Amber Pour Homme and let me tell ya' it's incredible, L'homme Intense is also way up there in the underground ranks. I have close to 60 fragrances from many other designers and Prada is my go to. Compliment getter, subtle and proper gentleman are the 3 words I can use to describe them. I hope they make these fragrances forever

I prefer the smoothness of Ocean EDP. Luna Rossa Black is unique but if I want powdery, I'll just go for L'Homme.

I'm with you on ocean edp. Black is nice but ocean edp smells richer to me and pushes better off of my skin. Ocean le parfum is GREAT but is kinda situational because it's so rich and smoky.

I absolutely love both of these! Luna Rossa Black is hands down my favorite but I definitely get more use out of Ocean EDP. I do find that Ocean is stronger and projects more so I have to be a little careful on the trigger. Black can sometimes be a light and airy powdery scent if you don’t go heavy on the sprays

Black is insane, unfortunate it doesn't have better projection/longevity. It really is a close encounter fragrance. Girls who I've been told me I smell great wearing this

I blind bought ocean edp and it’s absolutely 🔥! 1 spray lasts for hours on my skin. I love everything about it the opening and dry down are amazing

To me they're different enough that both are worth having in your collection. That said, I probably prefer the original L'Homme as a powder scent to the Luna Rossa Black. I also feel like the Ocean EDP will grow on you the more you wear it. I feel like the Black is pretty transparent. You'll understand it the first time you wear it. But what you're describing as the smooth progression of the Ocean EDP may require someone a few repetitions of experience before they can really grasp what it's about. You can own both without overlapping. The issue these days is that THERE ARE SO MANY fragrances out there that are so similar to each other that unless you are a collector, owning 10 to 12 bottles or any of these is enough.

I have PLR Black and have had it for about 1.5-2 years now. But honestly I think I can almost count on one hand how many times I've worn it (and I don't have a big collection at all). To me it's way too powdery and I get that some ppl like that, but nah not for me.. probably gonna try and resell it

Imo is ocean edp is very meh. Starts blue then quickly turns to sugary vanilla. The new Myslf is a much better frag in a similar ballpark (nighttime blue) ., but doesn’t overload the vanilla which has been done to death. Now, edt ocean, you can’t go wrong…

I can’t smell Prada Luna Rossa Black and Jpg Le male Le parfum. Idk what it is about those two frags but I literally smell them for five seconds and then it’s gone. I love Luna Rossa ocean EDP tho!

I'm convinced everyone is lying about Prada Black, haha. Not only does it smell nothing like what anyone says it does, but it's literally the only fragrance I have that gets weird looks. Like people have disgruntled faces when I wear it. I've had multiple people tell me that it just smells bad.
