sir i think when rho=sigma(36:27), the body will stay where it is left it need not float with it's surface with liq, because the net force on body on body is zero.

Sir what will happen when we increase the surface area of the container.... Will the height of mercury be still 760mm.

Sir, In barometer what will happen if we increase the area of the container,the height above free surface will change or not?..

Respected Sir .. as you said ..Relative Density = Density of the sub. / Density of the water but in many books I've read ... relative density = density of the sub / density of water at 4 degree Celsius !! why so sir ??
@vishakaathresh362311 жыл бұрын
Actually relative density=density of sub/density of water at 4 deg celsius. this is because it is at 4 deg celsius that water has a density of 1000 kg/metre cube. when sir has said that Relative Density = Density of the sub. / Density of the water, he actually assumes that water is at 4 deg celsius and has a density of 1000kg/metre cube. I think that answers your question...

sir we have derive formula for volume of solid=loss in weight(divided by)density of water. but sir loss in weight is equal to upthrust so i think we need to be more precise and formula should be volume of solid=loss in mass (of solid) divided by density of water so that gravity will not be included.sir am i right or it does not make any difference.

shaikh zoya even i have the same doubt
@shaikhzoya200210 жыл бұрын
Anayta Amisha since i had this doubt 4 month ago i have cleared it up.actually loss in weight =buoyant force=weight of fluid displaced by solid =mass of fluid displaced multiplied by 'g' and mass of fluid displaced=volume of solid multiplied by density of fluid so loss in weight of solid=volume of solid multiplied by density of fluid multiplied by g .and by arranging this equation and taking volume of solid on one side we get volume of solid =loss in weight divided by both -density of fluid and g.so here there is mistake in video there should be g as well.

Sir, when v immerse 5kg wt solid, why dnt the upthrust bcmz 5kg?
@dudefx897111 жыл бұрын
that is bcuz density of block is more than water so vpg>vkg where p is density of block and k is density of water. easy yaar!
