I have travelled 5000 km in Ola S1 pro, not paid a single penny for service. As regen kicks in early no wear out of brake pads. No blood sucking subscription plans here. You can charge once in 4 days. You can clean the scooter in less than a minute to sparking. Riding with your favorite music makes journey tireless. Broad wide tyres never slipped even once. Did long distance drive few times.

Battery replacement cost is 69 thousand rupees and it is for every 5 to 7 years. This is a huge drawback.

Pradeep, that was a great reviews. Just if you have not tried it yet then ather has regenerative breaking and it does work. Its not super impressive but it has and works. I got like so far max 2% increase in range whenever i tried it i dont have too many slops on my daily travel. To use regen. The battery SoC should be 85% or less . You can turn ypur accelerator in opposite direction and you will feel regen kicking in. Its more noticeable on lower battery percentage.

Pradeep bro just try and twist the trottel in the reverse direction when the charge is below 85% and it starts breaking ( I guess it's regen ) there is just about 5° of reverse twisting action. And if you try to do the same above 86% of charge it won't break. I use it most of the time on my Ather 450X.

1. I feel the paint quality can be better. Around the footrest area and footstand area. 2. During rainy days, mud comes even top of the mudguard lol, what's the point of mud guard then! 3. After 1 day of rain, the tyre and belt lubrication was gone and it started making noise!

It's because the belt drive is not sealed like in an OLA s1 where it is sealed inside a casing to avoid lubrication and dust issues.

Hey Pradeep ,so Ather does have regen, if u twist the throttle the other way while descending it activated the regen, and also when u apply the brakes it turns on regen , and it is activated in both these situations if the scooter is above 20kmph , it also wont work when battery % is high or if the temperature is high ,

Hey Mr Pradeep, I own Ather 450. I've been noticing a big negative in ather scooters that were even discussed on the forum. It's about Rolling Resistance. Does your scooter "coast" at a constant speed if you leave the accelerator? Many of Ather scooters don't and we've been noticing that actions like coasting, Pushing scooter without engine on is little difficult and charge consumption has increased too due to the said resistance. Has this been happening in your scooter?

Prior to this i had spoken to the Bengaluru EC several times. My Ather Experience was good so far and that might not be the case for everyone. One of my friend is also looking for IQube but his apprehension is the hub drive motor in IQube and OLA, whereas Ather comes with mid drive motor. What is your take on this? :) Because i'm not an expert in Autos.

At first when I called the showroom's customer care number, they said bike will be delivered in just 2 months, which I got confirmed several times. But when I called them after 2 months, they say that they can't deliver it for another month or even more. And the customer care guy didn't know any background about the previous assurances and was rude & unprofessional. And if they treat customers like this even before getting the vehicle, how will they treat you after getting it? Thus I am cancelling my order. I personally don't like such kind of troubles.

The company claims that it does work and Ather is the only one which gives warranty even if the charge drops to 0%. According to their manual they suggest to shutdown the vehicle if you're not going to use it for a long time and once u want to use it plug in the charger for some time and then only use it. - I'm a Ather 450X user (not long term) i haven't tried it yet but i had the same question and that was written in their manual.

@@prathmeshbankar Thank you for your helpful reply. Ola has a storage mode because it is always sending some signal to the cloud, this lets it stay in storage without losing much battery. Ather has an off button so it should also not lose that much power in off mode.

I just bought the ola s1 instead in tamilnadu Ather i prebooked on marrch and then they call on september for full payment and delivery will be after 3 months. What a joke. Also OLA has fixed the hardware issues like suspension and handlebar bending issues. So i think ola s1 at 1 lakh is a better scooter for the price than ather. Also ola doesnt have compulsary 5000km service intervel where you have to waste time every 5000km also no subscription charges for service and features as well in ola s1 for now.

Congratulations on your new EV and please keep the spares like brake pads and clean the belt from time to time. Have a call with the ather customer support and ask them what best they can do if there is an unfortunate breakdown and will they come and pick up if it happens

But all 3 bikes are having problem after multiple time repair problem is not getting resolved.first delivered bike without wash and software update when delivered hill hold feature not working and front and back disc brake pad brushing and annoying sound coming and belt seems like it is over tightened and many more issues like no network and Bluetooth not working. I think there is problem with 1 unit production because same chassis numbers having problem.pls make and video who is suffering from this issues

Simple One simply just because of the range. That is preferred range for most of the people working in service industry(that involves a lot of travel). Also because of the extra swappable batteries it offers. Vida and iQube because of the brand value, and they already have service stations across India. Which makes it easier to cater to the rural population. My father is in the rural part of Bangalore and he don't use electric vehicle because of skepticism that if it breaks in between travel(which most of the ev scooters do every now and then). And they don't provide service to that part of Bangalore. Which Vida and iQube will be able to cater to, once the Knowledge Transfer is done to their existing service station employees. Also these branded companies know how to acquire the components required for their vehicles without much effort unlike these newbies(who are actually struggling to acquire some components). Thus faster consumer acquisition. Only complaints until now was the range, but it seems like everybody is offering at least one vehicle with descent range now. Thus these 3 will have the potential to tap the different niches of untapped market. Speaking long term, the company that can provide excellent customer service, true long range and reliable vehicles(need to look out for companies that are invested in battery R&D) will certainly rock it.

@@babloovasu That's one thing we need to watch out for. Any way I am way down the waitlist. Will get a refund if I hear bad reviews about the after sales. I currently own gen 2 450X and has been dissatisfied with the service and customer care response. Thus I have booked Vida, iQube S and Simple One. I will keep the one I get first. Rest I will get refund. And can't wait to ditch the 450X for their bad customer service.
