What people are missing is that this has been a psy-op from very beginning. The powers that be have seen fit to ‘program’ the public. The message has changed over the years, it’s just now they see an opportunity to upend the system. It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity as King Charles put it. I really appreciate this message. When I was growing up I really loved flying and firefighting. My dad was a volunteer firefighter and that was my one goal and focus as a boy. As a teenager, I would ride my bike to the local airport and hop rides with hour-builders. I learned enough by 15 or 16 to have earned my Private Pilot’s License but that’s quite an expensive hobby. 23 years ago at the age of 21 a tire I was changing off the rim on my pickup exploded in my face. This brought physical and mental injuries as well as seizures. These things squashed those 2 dreams. Fast forward to now with a family and requirements of life and I’m seeing my useful life slipping away as I’m still stuck in the “I can’t do these things” mindset. I saw that mindset and way of life as wasting the skills and drive that I have in me. I’m venturing into services that I can provide on a volunteer basis, such as the Civil Air Patrol. Thank you John for this. It really does inspire people to try to do things that they think aren’t possible. Many first timers were people who were told time and time again told “no you can’t do this” but they wanted it so bad that they just kept pressing on and made history.

TxS, I live in Sydney Australia but have been to and through the USA on 14 occasions between 1984-2013. All up I've been to 18 States, which took in 100 cities, towns and hamlets. About 2005, I began to notice your country's culture and identity changing. And in 2013 when in San Francisco, I realised America was coming apart. In the summer of 2020, it'd become clear the social structures were Parlous. Since then they've deteriorated. To gauge an insight with this can be garnered by reading the works of Lance Morrow, who's based in NYC, talking about the sociological demise of America, via Wokeism and progressive agendas. With regards to MSNBC and CNN programs I occasionally watch (Joy Reid) it's clear the colored people on those programs are virulent racists. And none of them want justice for past events, but retribution.

Oh my goodness, I cannot tell you how much I loved this! Not only his backstory of being from Amarillo, but all the little sidenotes he added like about Faith and the story behind Mississippi Girl, which happens to be one of my favorite Faith Hill songs. Also the one about Jason Aldean who I am sooo proud of for the way he and Brittany are standing up to woke culture in country music right now. I have alot of perspective on all this myself as I worked in the biz for many years alongside such great writers as Hank Corcoran, Harlan Howard, Willie Nelson, Bobby Bradock, Curly Putman, Troy Seals, Larry Henley, Ed Bruce, Terry Stafford (also from Amarillo!) and on and on. I have seen the transition of country music over more than a generation. Some parts good, some not, but I love what all he had to say about being able to express our perspectives as artists without this cancel culture restrictiveness. The fact that people can run the risk of being cancelled for saying something that may not be politically correct is a sad state of affairs. Anyway, I am so glad I stumbled on this down home chat from John Rich. His story was "rich" with inspiration and takeaways for all of us! It made my day!!

@@Butterfly-tg3oz I know about the Pat Tillman debacle. Who said anything about the government being my jam? You don't have a clue how I feel about "the government". I didn't come in on a load o' melons! I know more then the biggest percentage of people in this country do. So much so that many of my comments of a political nature dont even "make it to press"! So I don't know what I said in my comment, which in case you want to go back and read it a few more times, since you seem to be having a hard time connecting the dots, was more about the music business than anything else. That being said, if you do think there are others countries on the face of the earth that are better places to live. than the U.S. and if you happen to be an acolyte of AOC and her anti-American Squat and think America is the a___hole of the universe, I'm not down with that either. The exceptionalism I see in America is in it's hard-working people, the kind John Rich spoke of, not in it's politicians, particularly the wokesters on the Left but also the RINOS on the Right! So I'm not quite sure where you're coming from and you sure as heck don't know where I am coming from! So unless I'm mis-reading and misinterpreting your comment, never the twain shall meet!

THE MILLION-DOLLAR QUESTION: Will you go to Heaven when you die? Have you lied, stolen, used God’s name in vain, or lusted (which Jesus said was adultery, Matthew. 5:28)? If so, God sees you as a liar, thief, blasphemer, and adulterer at heart. If you die in your sins, you will end up in a terrible place called Hell. But there's good news. Though we broke God's Law, Jesus paid the fine by dying on the cross: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" (John. 3:16). Then Jesus rose from the dead and was seen by hundreds of eyewitnesses. He fulfilled all the prophecies of the promised Savior. Please, today, repent and trust Jesus, and God will forgive you and grant you the gift of eternal life (Ephesians. 2:8,9). Then, to show your gratitude, read the Bible daily and obey it, join a Christian church, and be baptized. Visit t.co/jp8bFXYtmE and t.co/xnaFXWz1gr...

I didn't expect this to be a feel-good interview but was quite moved by this. John's point that true art can't be placed into boundaries is spot on. Wokeness claws out the beauty and rawness of art, leaving an empty shell in its wake. Entertainment nowadays is akin to the the cave-dwellers in Plato's Cave being delighted by the shadows dancing on the wall rather than the beautiful (and flawed) flesh and blood dancers casting those shadows.

Wonderful to hear the pride and respect in his voice when he talks about his working class father. We need this old-fashioned attitude to make a strong comeback. I’m from Texas and what Mr. Rich says about the Woke is 100% Percent true... and it also concerns me about the woke ideologies in the workplaces... In Texas you think it’s about Cowboys and Rednecks but there’s people that have that grit to have a backbone for yourself and your family to protect what you believe in... When I look at my ancestors photos and what they did in Texas the stories I was told they were tough individuals who had to survive every outcome that was on their shoulder and they were hard working people who worked on their farms every day from dawn till dusk. Since I’m a Gen Z there’s something that always looms in my mind of why is most of the Gen Z is screwing up society with the Gen Y? As a Gen Zer I believe that the United States is a great country and a example for the rest of the world. We must be grateful to be alive and be in the United States because the countries that our ancestors came from didn’t had much freedoms... If they were here today and see America the way it is now they would be in total disgust more than I could ever imagine. Maybe give us a few harsh words maybe more because they had common sense back then. By helping people and helping themselves to live. I hope to continue their stories and legacy that they left behind for me to tell future generations for many years to come... If you try to cancel them... that would tick them off...

can't underestimate the woke ideology comment in the workplaces. One of the worst things to happen in the last 10 years is filth on Twitter is now in every corporation and force feeding America's the left ideology. they tell you they are inclusive but it is selective. the moment you saying something that doesn't follow the dogma you risk putting a target on your back or worse. But also my concern is the minimum wage my parents think “That’s great!” But in reality it’s not... not only that but think about how much money big businesses actually poured into the BLM and other woke ideologies like CRT. But cost of everything will go up that none of us could ever imagine... We can’t live like this and it can’t go on like this...
