+tacocookie1015 Just because it's an opinion piece are you saying that people who disagree with it should be all like "Well I guess it's just this guys opinion, so we will just have to agree to disagree". Videos that are so biased in one direction are uncomfortable to watch. If you liked this video it means you are far right. If you disliked this video it could mean you are far left, or it could just mean you more balanced and dislike showings of extreme bias. What if I came up with a video titled "Why racists are right!" and then proceeded to talk for 5 minutes on why racism is correct and every non-racist is wrong. People would complain right? And rightly so!

+Bad MF It is unfortunate that, and forgive me if I'm characterizing your point incorrectly, you are are choosing to use as your one example someone making a video titled, "Why racists are right!" It seems that you are saying that the opinions in this video are not so far off or different from the hypothetical one you mentioned. If so, it is not only sad that you or anyone would make such an inflammatory comparison, but also ignorant and dare I say extremely biased to make such a connection to anyone that is conservative.

They stereotype that Liberals that we make risks that that’s why a balance of both conservatives and liberals. The person who designed the suburbs to give more government money to more white communities than black communities. In which Liberals (Which I am) protested to change the laws for the black communities would get more money for better health care and education. Which reduced crime. Conservatives made sure that to not make the government tip toward too far which is good so now they can manage cash flow. As conservatives are more daring and usually stick to old plans and Ideas which were bias. (Not saying all do) Liberals made sure to put new ideas into the spotlight making conservatives change a bit to renew their Idea for the new age and generation. As the wall was built. Liberals made sure not too much was spent on the wall so the conservatives made a compromise from a concrete wall to a metal slant fence which not only saved money but also made a better design. The conservatives are no better than liberals that’s why we have a 2 party system. Liberals wanted to make poor gun laws such as a ban of certain weapons. Conservatives made the idea for gun licensing to reduce gun crime for all for about 60%-80% less gun violence. So liberal changed a decided to only restricting not banning are think of licensing instead of permits.

Yea, this has been going in for a very long time. I'd say that the modern types of riots snowballed in the 60s and then started snowballing again more recently but the left has always been willing to be more violent and destructive to our society. Whether we're talking about riots, slavery, or the KKK of the 1800s -1900s, they've done more damage than any other political movement in the U.S., the destruction simply takes on new forms every few decades.

Scalapher Falanar Millions of of us sensible Democrats exist, it's just that too many people, including Ben Shapiro, see ALL Democrats as college campus SJW's, instead of people who maybe just lean Democratic on certain issues, such as economics, and foreign policy. The party has been corrupted by horrible exaggeration and generalization of the SJW meme from other people, to the point where people think that 100% of the affiliation are tri-gendered foxkin who put on $12.99 Party City wigs and claim we're no longer the sex we are. The unity of both parties is going to come from us no longer using these stereotypes, and understanding the MAJORITY, who are normal, sensible people who believe in things like, a woman's body is more important than a cluster of cells without brain activity, for example. The media is dangerous on both sides. We need to work together to unite against certain issues, not exaggerate and further argue about things for years.

Extremists seem to be everything on both sides these days. Of course the people who are more balanced and lean different ways and different things and are actually dynamic people are the majority, it is just quite easy to forget unfortunately in modern day, and you can really start to think that only the extremists exist if you are exposed to the toxic environment that politics are today too much, and even going in with the most level head, it gets to you.

That is what as known as the "Golden Mean Fallacy" - the belief that in any given situation of two options, both are equally valid and therefore the middle option is the best idea/most true. No centrist always takes the purely middle path on every single issue - just like how no rightist or leftist always takes the furthest right/left option available. Centrism is all about making the best decision on an issue at that particular moment, without regard for ideology. It's also about not falling into the trap of false dichotomy and failing to realize that there are almost always more than two potential solutions to any given problem.

Peter Those are all different subjects. To get to those answers, you first have to define what process you'll be using to critique the model. I feel that a logic based approach has garnered the most accurate results. It's track record speaks for itself. So ask the question; what is the least detrimental and most constructive versions of humanity? Once you have an understanding of what outcomes would be best, set that standard towards the current structure and see how it can be improved. What model do you think is appropriate for humanity?

All so that people like you can vote those politicians in because they support a small fraction of the biblical doctrine, while leaving out a majority of Jesus's teachings because it makes them feel uncomfortable to fully commit to a guy that literally called on everyone to sell their possessions and give to the poor. Jesus said to him, “If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.” - Matthew 19:21.

That bible verse actually has a lot of relevance because although I don't believe in it, you do, which means that you are supporting everything that he goes against. You can't deny anything I said while respond with a bunch of nonsense about Democrats trying to keep black people in poverty. By the way, I'm not a Hillary supporter so don't lump me in that category. Just because democrats support giving people the option to abort a baby doesn't mean that they are promoting it. We could revert to a theocratic form of government, not unlike Sharia law in the middle east. Of course, the only way that would work is if we take everything literally. Otherwise, everything else is void. For instance: 15'For six days work may be done, but on the seventh day there is a sabbath of complete rest, holy to the LORD; whoever does any work on the sabbath day shall surely be put to death." -Exodus 31:15 My god, not so easy when you don't have the option to pick and choose what fits your 21st century life, hey?

MLK Jr. wasn't a republic nor a democrat. You didn't address the main point I was making is that you can't hold a party accountable a hundred years after the fact for people acting and thinking according to their time and place. Democrats (Harry S Truman) and Republicans (Warren G Harding) were members of the KKK. What they did have in common was their christian faith and the verses they used to justify slavery and later the oppression of black people.

"living wage" In any developed country a living wage is a ridiculous thing, especially in regards to unskilled labour. You want more money for what you do? Do something that requires skill and hard work. Do you know why engineers get paid more than McDonalds cooks? It's because engineering requires skill. There are jobs which don't require too much skill/intelligence/craft, but are physically demanding/dangerous and so the wage is higher. But for a job where you work indoors doing nothing physically or mentally demanding, don't expect to get a hefty wage. If you have no skills, you provide nothing for society. Why should someone who gives nothing to society demand something back?

You seem to sensible, but misinformed from 'Mainstream Media' maybe? If you dig a few layers deeper you will see the rampant criminal activities from our own government and minions. Two examples from high levels of our government below. The Liberal party and the Republican parties have both been warped by corruption. The "Liberal' Party has their main donkey Hillary Clinton has been selling the U.S. secrets for at least 20 years and laundering the money in through the guise of charities mainly. And the Republican party has moles from massive corporations. Especially Big Pharma companies. All of these traitors need to be taken care of. Personally I don't know how to fix this and I wish I did. This is a problem that is going to blow up very soon and we're the human shields.I was not old enough to vote for Trump and my reason for supporting him is not most it has a lot to do with what I just wrote. Some of their claims are just utterly ridiculous and don't make any sense when considered logically. +Justin Beagley That all sounds like a good argument absent from said facts and documentation to prove that liberalism is superior to conservatism. liberalism can only be successful if everyone is willing to abdicate their personal responsibility, self-interest and self-preservation to a group of smarter-than-the-masses people known as the government. Everywhere in America where liberalism is running unfeterred is filled with poverty, out of control budget deficits and people afraid to be honest about their true personal and religious beliefs for fear of being targeted for destruction for non-conformance. I think it is you guys on the left that are unwilling to give thought to the results your way of thinking has negatively impacted American society and the world. Aborting babies so you don't have to be inconvenienced. Raising taxes to cover expenses rather than cutting what isn't absolutely necessary. Obliterating the military every time you take the Oval office and reducing the ability for us to adequately respond to world circumstances. Not enforcing immigration laws because it's easier than enforcement. Wanting to ban guns for everyone everytime a wacko goes rampant. Liberals always defer to what is easy, expedient and takes money out of OTHER peoples' pockets to fund every failed program they have ever foisted upon this country. And the answer is always, "We need to raise taxes." When was the last time you ever heard a liberal say, "Yeah. That was a bad idea." Nope. They just need more time and money for it to work, and it never does. Please list for us the liberalism that has worked and is working in America today. I am open to agreeing with you if you can present solid examples. Lest ye be a hypocrite, I hope we can expect data to support the conservative perspectives in your examples. And please cite reputable, viable sources of info.

Meanwhile the right, conservative's are grounded in rational logical thinking. So as the left moves to the left, so dose the middle. This forces the right to comprise their principal's, in an effort to get along. After awhile the right tares apart, as we now see in the Republican Party, with the "go along to get along's", the RINO's, and the conservative's.

Understand that centrism is still a claim to political interest. The left (the wrong) and the right (period) are lines that do not actually connect despite what we've been told. A "center" implies a value of Zero between the two. What exists "between" the left and right is a void, nothing. Not "Zero" but a null value; *and it's name is being apolitical*.

The right is understandably upset. They have had their history taken from them and for the last 30 years they have been under character attacks. When I hear liberals defend taking our history, they say "Well its because we switched." They don't even know what it means. They mean to say progressives have switched with conservatives. Democrats were conservative when they tried to conserve their stranglehold on the south and their way of life. It wasn't all about racism, had more to do with money. The south was dependent on slave labor. They don't call it the "dirty south" now for nothing. In a liberals mind, if you are a conservative then you subscribe to every conservative Idea. It won't be until liberals progress to the point they are happy and then CONSERVE their rights they won. Republicans switched to conservative because we won what we wanted. They will not understand this till a new progressive movement happens that they do not agree with. A lot of the same arguments liberals used to fight for gay married are now being used by paedophiles and those who practice bestiality. (whos to say our love isn't real? Who are you to say that?" That is only the social policies tho. What really scares me is their use of "big brother government" to solve all the problems. While their heart is in the right place, they are doing more harm than good. A real life example I use is when I moved back in with my father after college. If he did not, i would be sleeping behind fast food joints and begging for a job in the morning. Instead, he helped me until I landed a job. His heart was in the right place but it back fired as I saw no immediate reason to look for a job. Glad to be out of school I thought I "deserved" (great liberal word) a break. And with their economics, I do like their plan. However, they leave out manufacturing completely. I read a great article recently where democrats (finally) admitted they don't care about manufacturing and instead want to make the USA the financial/entertainment/tourist capital of the world. The only problem with that is you are putting all your eggs in one basket (three actually lol). Those 3 industries take an enormous hit when the economy slows. I would love to be the capital of the world for those 3 industries, but not at the expense of the rest.

@@nathanjonsson6467 There are plenty of environmentalists on the right. Conservatives believe in conservation, you know. What irks people is the politicisation of the environment and how global warming is being used to shoehorn in ulterior agendas. We’ve seen during the pandemic just how easily our freedom can be taken away. People are wary at environmental issues being used to clamp down on individual freedom of movement and rights to ownership. There’s also still a question over the degree to which global warming actually IS man-made or whether it’s part of the inevitable natural cycle that our planet has gone through many times before. Either way, I still think we need to take steps to protect ourselves from rising sea levels and the like. What worries me and many conservatives more than GW is water/air pollution, waste disposal, overdependence on plastics and non-renewable fuels, etc. Yet many leftist environmentalists continue to oppose nuclear, which is our most reliable option for sustainable fuel. Compare the hypothetical threat of global warming with the tangible threat of Islamofascism, which has a thousand-year history. As the youngest of the major religions, Islam has yet to have its liberal revolution or reform. The countries which are run under Islamic laws - whether it’s Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, the Philippines etc - are also the countries which are the most repressive to women’s rights, minority rights and freedom of speech. It’s strange then that leftists don’t speak out more about these political doctrines, since they bang on about women and LGBTs all the time in a Western context. It was this hypocrisy that actually made me question my position as a leftist back in 2015, with Charlie Hebdo and the Paris attacks. The left has abandoned its own values and I don’t recognise it anymore. Today’s conservatives practice liberal values more closely than the left. Weird times. Hope that gives you some insight.

Do you really need peer-reviewed studies to know that the left wants to raise the minimum wage for example? Or that such labor regulations can only survive via the kind of capitalistic enterprise conservatives champion? Liberalism/leftism can only occur in wealthy and peaceful societies. Wealth and peaceful societies are only enabled by entrepreneurialism, law and order, national security, personal responsibility, and family formation / fecundity, i.e. the kinds of things conservatives worry about.

Opinions about differnt things should not be made because you categorise yourself as left or right but using your own head. Also note that there is no exact right wing or left wing ideology. It varries from nation to nation. I live in India where left and right are different from what they are in usa or any other country. So maybe if I belong to one category in my country, I may belong to the opposite in other. This point basically proves that it is foolish to categorise yourself as left or right.

definitely. What with the liberals demanding a minority quota for work places and universities, and most of their graduates are majoring in Gender Studies. They treat their minorities like they are incapable of equality. African Americans can get into a university like Yale with the lowest of SAT scores. All ethnic groups have their own SAT score acceptance number, asians being the highest, however all females are allowed with a slightly lower score than their counterpart. There is also a percentage quota businesses have to fill. Lets say that 300 White men apply for a job from a business, but they can only accept 100 of them, and the other 200 are turned down because they're not black, trans, Asian, Spanish, etc. The Liberal work force doesn't consist of knowledgeable employees but pity party employees and that is why they would never have a successful economy. white Americans make up a majority of the population and a majority of their citizens would be unemployed simply because they don't have the right skin color.

We used to have this thing called "entry level". It was what jobs like flipping burgers were considered. They were never meant to be permanent jobs. However, certain people who are unmotivated decided to stay in entry level jobs. Just stay. Despite the fact that it was well known these were entry level jobs with crap pay that you only take for experience, and to help fill out your resume with good recommendations. The deal was implied. You gained experience and the owner could afford to hire you in his small profit business. The unmotivated decided to squat on the job and now the owner is expected to shell out a living wage to someone who was never motivated to earn one by going elsewhere. Sounds really like a fair deal for the owner? Only in the addled brains of people without motivation.

Speaking as someone who will inevitably be pidgeon-holed into Liberalism, is it fair to one's self and to one's sense of value to stand on either side of an arbitrary red-blue line and say 'this is who I am'? Our perspectives as American citizens are not so binary. After consuming dozens of Prager U videos, including Dave Rubin's 'Why I Left the Left', I'm not offended anymore by right-wing assertions of who I am and who they are and what the status quo is, but I'm a little disheartened that so many people, Mr. Gutfeld included, want to dive headfirst into this partisan politics and the accompanying mindset. Are Republicans racist assholes who want to make Christianity the law of the country? Are Democrats naive hippies who want everything handed to them for free? The American people cannot be so easily categorized.
