His games were difficult playing on board 2, wasn't easy to hold, but he did really really well 🙂... proud of him.

Pragg has been the wall of India at board 2. Brilliant effort from him definitely not his peak form but class outshines form he displayed few of the best defensive games one can see. He made sure Gukesh and Arjun could play at their best. Soon he will enter 2800+. Love his witty answers fav place - Home, fav place to play chess- Correct room temperature😅
@sourabhsiitgАй бұрын
Gukesh and Arjun have both experienced a dip in their performance. Gukesh once reached 2750 but then dropped to 2710, and we’ve all been witnessing his comeback. Arjun has had a similar journey. However, in the last two or three months, Pragg is facing a downturn for the first time in his career, which had only been on an upward trajectory. Magnus and many others have praised him the most among this trio. I can only imagine the kind of comeback Pragg will make, considering the comebacks of the other two giants. Exciting times ahead!
@MagictyeАй бұрын
Comebacks are difficult to predict, as for gukesh he used to be an unstable player, sometimes very good sometimes bad results, his good plays used to be better than pragg in classical, although gukesh has improved and plays more solid now

no one knows. He can make career in other fields too. He is too young. Chess is not only option in life.

He did ok in Sinquefield cup. Did not lose even single game. He did great in Norway chess beating Magnus and Fabi. So its not as if he is playing bad. Here at Olympiad, he had no reason to take risks as Gukesh/Arjun were on fire.

@ravindrana.d9755Ай бұрын
Exactly which is what Arjun did when he missed out to make it to candidates. He did not bother about ratings and simply played quite a lot of tournaments without invitations and had an amazing results gaining lot of ELO points. Go Pragg! You are extremely talented and can catch up Gukesh and Arjun very soon.

arjun and guki went ahead of pragg coz they played more open tournaments and got their basics covered while pragg was playing against elites at very young age as he was first superstar after vishi anand. hope he plays more open tournament and find the way to beat sub 2700s like arjun. hope to see all of them in top 5.
