You're on a Mac? Me too. It took me several searches to find Mac's complicated re-interpretation of this simple command string. This is wone of the many reasons I hate Macs with a passion, why can't they just make it the same across all platforms. So heres where to find the Customise Ribbon (there may be a quicker way, but nobody has come forth with a solution yet, so here goes: Word tab (beside the apple icon, top left corner of your screen), Preferences Ribbon and Toolbar (the shortcut Command + comma will get you straight to the word preferences box) Actually, here is a quicker way than going into Ribbon & Toolbar - Click View (one to the left of Ribbon & Toolbar, and tick Show developer tab in the bottom left corner.

Hi Could you be so kind to upload a step by step for adding this boxes with windows OS (Mac), I have reach the part to add developer to the bar, but only have the check box and I cannot click on it, only if I have click on "protect form", and if I keep that option abled I cannot do anything else in the document and also cannot change the x to the checkmark option. please help

Macs also don't have the array of checkbox options that are demonstrated here. To check the box, I have to double click the checkbox and choose Ticked or Not Ticked. I cannot choose a tick or cross for my check-mark. Yeah, work provides me with my Mac, but I use a real computer (PC) at home.
