Prairie Lights | Christmas Light Display POV & Review | Drive Through and Walkthrough Attraction

Join us for a look at Prairie Lights, located at Lynn Creek Park on Joe Pool Lake in Grand Prairie, Texas. Prairie Lights says that it is the premier holiday light park and one of Texas' most popular holiday attractions. Tickets for regular vehicles are $50 for general admission, but if you want to skip the general admission line they do offer a fast pass option starting at $149-$319 depending on the date so that you can skip the wait. Prairie Lights is open now until December 31st, and your ticket price includes admission to the drive through lights and the Holiday Village. The village has two carnival rides (a carousel and small dumbo like ride), concessions, a walk through Christmas forest, photos with Santa, and some shopping booths. The concessions and photos with Santa are extra pay options, but the carnival rides and walk through attraction are included in the cost of your admission with unlimited access. We do think this would be great for families with kids, but it is still fun for all ages.
We have also reviewed the Gift of Lights at the Texas Motor Speedway- and we would NOT recommend that experience since they have not brought back Santa Land. For a look at that event watch our video linked down below:

Good question. They’re kinda different in the since that at prairie lights you get out of your vehicle half way through it and walk through a section. If you have kids then I would probably say do the prairie lights for that reason. I personally like the light park in Arlington more cause there’s a ton of displays and the music matches the beat and lights.
