About 15 years ago or so, I was watching PBS from my home in Council Bluffs, Iowa. This song came on as they had about 6 minutes to fill until the next program. I was hooked. I have most of their cd's. I understand they are no longer together. Fantastic group, They deserve so much more credit.

Yes they are no longer together sadly... although separately they are all still performing, writing, doing their own thing... I was their Fan Club President for 17 years.... Such a terrific band and sound.

Love these guys. Partied with them one time in Mattawa (Voyageur Days 2001 or 2002 perhaps). I was with the main sound tech (Bert R.) and had a blast. I was more or less escorted to their trailer/bus bc I was getting a bit out of hand. I wasn't upset bc they just opened the fridge of beer for me and told me have some brew and just wait till they were done playing onstage! Had so much fun there; very great sound and they like(d) to party.

Voyageur days? Like a Métis gathering? Are the members of this band Métis? Can I possibly love them any more than I already do?

They just kind of went their separate ways sadly, lead singer Russell DeCarle wanted to follow a solo career and thus the band drifted apart :-( Most of the former band members are still playing and writing and doing their own thing here and there.

They just kind of went their own ways about 2011. Russell wanted to do a solo thing and that became his focus. Sadly the band drifted apart to all do their own things... I was their fan club president for 14 years, it was sad to see it happen.
