I remember seeing a Johnny Cash show back ‘round ‘86 or ‘87 w/my dad. We were fascinated by how strong & passionate the lady playing guitar in Johnny’s back up band was. But whn id visit my grandparents a lot, they'd have the radio n hee haw on. I always seem drawn to Johnny Cash n Buck Owens. Then whn I heard ur song n seen the video I really liked it,ur style, the mix n uptempo just blew me away!! Always liked this song. About 5 years ago I finally got tickets to see Steve Miller band and Marty Stewart and his band opened for Steve. It was so great to see him in something other than a 30 minute TV show on the farm channel. Then Steve Miller band was everything I always hoped he'd be! But the best part of the show was when Marty & his guys came back on stage and played with Steve Miller band! I am now a super fan and more recently a kenny Vaughn fan as well.
