Prairie View Yates Jewell Pass Hike Zia Tahir Nov 16, 2024

Completed this awesome hike on November 16, 2024 with totally dry trail conditions. Did not put on the spikes at all. There were small patches of snow and ice close to Yates summit but those could be crossed without spikes. It was windy but not very cold. Sky was blue most of the time and sun was up. I used Jewell pass trail after few years and totally loved it. Last time when I did it, it was snowy conditions and it was not very entertaining. It was still boring but just finding the trail so dry, when I expected it to be quite snowy, really made my day and I forgot all the boring walk through this long trail. The last 4K which is by the lake is quite windy as usual.
