Both cards are lovely, thanks for reminding me about this technique. I liked the edges and angles in the second background. I remember someone doing that ink blending with torn cardstock as a stencil…. You know back when stencils were rare and expensive 😂

You are SO right about the red inks - I just (foolishly) tried an emboss resist, blending red ink over white embossing 🫣… And the spent ages going over all the embossing with a white paint pen. Still have slightly pink embossed lines on my red background. Have decided it‘s a look - and that I have to listen to Amy better in future 😂. Gorgeous cards, gorgeous snowflakes (share the mild addiction on these)!

ugh yessss red/pink is difficult lol. It's why I always say red is a bear in all it's forms to deal with - but for so many projects they're the best colors to use we just all have to find ways to make it work around their insanity LOL!!
