I really feel it for John the Baptist. He saw that he was left in a dark prison to die. Yet in his great sorrow he sent message to Jesus to ask him “If he/Jesus is the Messiah or should we expect another”?? Jesus sent back message to John saying “The blind is being heals, the deaf is hearing and the lane is walking”; John was now satisfied that He prepared the way for the Messiah/Jesus and now he can rest in peace in God’s arms. King Herod had no hold on John the Baptist. John did what God said and knew he was right to speak out against Herod, the terrible who killed his brother and took his wife Herodine. This Herod was not the true King that’s why he could feel free to kill the Jewish baby boys when he heard that The real King is born. The serpent in human skin. Just like Pharoah, the Prince of Eqypt, Nebuchadnezzar the Prince of Iraq, The King of Persia, Caesar the Prince of Italy, Alexander the Prince of Greece, and Hitler the Prince of Germany. Know that the serpent is a creature of the sea that comes out and takes on human form to kill if he knows a Messiah is born to the Hebrews. Check all serial killers where did they really come from???
