I was listening to this music as I was writing something on my computer but I couldn’t help but feel I should stop and listen. I felt as though I was being hugged by an angel, a Child of God cradled in His arms. Although I do not know the lyrics to this song, I know that heaven sounds something like this, and it was just a little taste that reminded me to be thankful for such a wonderful God. God bless you all! ✝️❤️

@@madamvaudelune3298 In the Byzantine era it seems that at the Patriarchates has been repeated the story of the Archangels. There are and other stories which i know (these other stories with people, not with angels, in which there is the possibility a person to be protagonist) which have taken place in a season and these have taken place again in a later season, the history is repeated. Five were the Archangels, the following and in order of honorary positions: samael, Michael, Gabriel, Raphael and Uriel. The one of them, who had the first place of honor, ie samael, wanted to get the glory of God and he fell. In that the Archangels are four, Michael, Gabriel, Raphael and Uriel, and in that the order of their honorary positions is Michael, Gabriel, Raphael and Uriel, is clearly seen from the vision of Saint Nephon (of the 4th century) about the Second Advent of Christ, who was and friend of Athanasios the Great. Five were the old Patriarchates (in the Byzantine era) with their Patriarchs (these five Patriarchates now called "senior" [Greek: πρεσβυγενή, presbygene, "senior-born"] or "ancient" [Greek: παλαίφατα, palaiphata, "of ancient fame"]), the following and in order of honorary positions: The patriarchate of Rome, the Patriarchate of Constantinople, the Patriarchate of Alexandria, the Patriarchate of Antioch and the Patriarchate of Jerusalem. In one of these, its patriarch, who had the first place of honor, ie the pope, wanted to get the glory of Christ, of the stone on which is founded the Church of Christ, and he fell. The Patriarchates of Constantinople, of Alexandria, of Antioch and of Jerusalem, all four Patriarchates, broke communion with the patriarchate of Rome. (From the 5 Patriarchates the 4 were wrong and the 1 was right? And from the 5 Archangels the 1 fell and no the 4.) In 1054 AD when the schism took place, the Patriarch of Constantinople had the same name as the Archangel Michael, then Patriarch of Constantinople was Michael Cerularius. Ιn the revelation of John in 12:7-9 we read for the war between Archangel Michael and satan and for the fall of Lucifer (the revelation of John is an enigmatic book and for this reason correlates the two facts of the fall of Lucifer and the kingdom of antichrist in one, even though the first fact took place much earlier). This story reminds and the story in 1054 AD of the Churches of Constantinople and Rome and the war which took place in 1054 AD between the Churches of Constantinople and Rome and the fall of Church of Rome. The story of the archangels and of the patriarchates reminds and the story of the disciples of Christ and it seems that the story of the archangels has been repeated and at the disciples of Christ. ~~~According to saint Nephon's vision about the Second Coming of Christ, in addition to the 4 archangels with their orders, in other group there were and another 7 orders of angels.~~~ 12 were all the orders of angels and the 1 fell. 12 were the disciples of Christ and the one, Judas, perished. Maybe Judas because of his name (reminds the tribe of Judah, the Judeans) and because he had the treasury of Christ he had the first place of honor among the disciples of Christ, but because he betrayed the Christ he is written last among the disciples of Christ in the Bible.

@@barbaratrehy4742 Don't get me started. The church that gave us music like Palestrina's now has dumbed it down in the name of 'accessibility'. This is exactly backwards - for many people, the one spot of beauty in the week was the language and music of the church service. It's not meant to be 'accessible' it's meant to be something to be a little outside of the day to day experience.

@@ianboard544 Yes! I am Eastern Orthodox. If a baseball fan were to go to a cricket match and say that he didn't understand that game and so it should become like baseball, the cricket fans and players would regard this as very selfish. What goes on in a church ought to be different from what goes on outside a church. The outside world should be influenced by the Church. The Church should not resemble the world.

@MsKecee You have blessed this song by listening to it and enjoying it so. God loves you. In the Orthodox faith, we believe that we were born to live in communion with God and a contrite and sorrowful heart is our sacrifice to him.
