I've been cooking on Blackstone Griddles for 7 years now. From day 1 until today, the #1 question continues to be, "How do I season the griddle?" I've done numerous videos on how to season your griddle. I'll leave links below. I haven't done a seasoning video in a while though, so I thought I'd bring you along for today's work.
I don't need to reinvent the wheel. Here are some of my previous popular griddle seasoning videos:

Hi Dan - It's really easy. Just apply thin coats of oil and run it on high heat. When it quits smoking, apply more oil and repeat. When in doubt, keep the fire burning. Thanks so much for watching. God bless!

Hi Todd, How about a video on how to level your griddle so the grease actually goes out the rear trap as opposed to running down to the front left hand corner.. I have two Blackstones and leveling them can be a challenge. I tried using ceramic coasters and the weight of the griddle cracked them. My small griddle was sold with an adjustable base so that was easier to level. FWIW, I actually have a light tilt toward the rear so the grease slowly heads in that direction. Some people are obsessed with it and insist on it. Some people insist on painting the underside with rust proof paint. I have never done that period of course I live in Colorado we have very very low humidity, but take that for what it's worth. We have never done it on the road, we have had griddles out on the East Coast for months and have never had underside to rust. You can do it if you want to! Thank you for watching!

My 17 inch griddle will arrive this week and intend to season it in the oven first (3-5 times) and finish it on the unit at a lower temperature. Avoid blasting the heat to high on every cook and use ingredients at room temperature to avoid heat loss!

I am not one of those guys that posts question or asks how many times to season or what kind of oil, but I’m a bit concerned about something. I got a new Blackstone yesterday and set it up and went thru the seasoning like your videos showed and i did four times and it came out excellent. This morning went out to look at it in the day light and saw it’s warped about 1/4 inch on the upper right side. I read about it and saw that normally go down.
