Some insightful points mentioned in the podcast: 1. The law of karma is not about the karma (deed), but about the karta (doer). Since it's impossible to find the right knowledge about anything in the outside material world, the real source of knowledge lies inside (intention, character, etc.). Karma can be misleading because of the complexity of situations, hence focus on the karta. Additionally; once the karta is right, there needs to be applied little emphasis on the karma. 2. "I" is a feeling/an experience, but what it actually is, is unknown. Almost always this "I" is restless. An unconscious and uninformed interpretation of this "I" is the body. It's impossible to put an end to the restlessness by misinterpreting it as the body; and hence in order to fulfill this restlessness there is the origination of afterlife (heaven and hell). This "I" is the ego and it doesn't exist. 3. Adhyatm means self knowledge, not spirituality. It means to search about the lies of the ego. 4. Bhagvad Gita doesn't prescribe you the right thing, it clears your misconceptions. Once all the doubts are clear, you will always do the right thing. 5. Biology and Culture are the two obstructions to the path of a simple fulfilled life. 6. Truth is like light; it does not actively do anything, but it's presence enables you to do great things. Like krishna, it's the illuminator / catalyst / enabler. 7. Anybody who tells you what to do, in any way or form, is trying to keep you bonded. The war is between the forces that are trying you bonded versus you. 8. Everything right comes under the umbrella of Dharma as Dharma is just one thing. Whatever breaks the misconceptions about the ego is Dharma.

I disagree with prashant on these points: 1. Law of karma is about the doer as well as the deed, if its not about the deed then there is no morality left. 2. "I" does exist, whenever you say "I did this" you are talking about the subject, the only problem with "I" consciousness is that it is contracted and limited but it can expand, to such a degree that it encompasses everything in the universe (like vishwaroopam of sri krishna) and that is liberation. Heaven and hell are real also. 6. Truth is the only actor in reality and we are that truth.
