Thank a lot. You know I used to travel this same route 25 years ago and all were Semaphore signals from VZM till Raipur. I was fascinated to see that lines have been electrified till TIG. And that WDP4D from Raipur hauling Korba VSKP caught my attention because I watch this train passing by every day. I live near Pendurthi Rly Stn and sipping coffee, reading news paper and throwing a kiss to that blue livery beast from my balcony is now part of my life. Great video. P.S. Try to use a piece of foam on the mic when shooting in windy conditions.

Hey,Pramit I know that u r a big railfan And being a railfan too Its my duty to let u know one amazing thing about semaphore signaling. Recently ,i visited rajkot And when i m on my way to rajkot i saw a very different signaling These plates of semaphores are going upside when the signal comes green Generally we see in semaphore signals that plate of signal goes downward when signal is green i.e track ahead is clear

Amazing ! Samta is one of the Express trains in which i enjoy eating food specially Upma Vada (Delicious ! ) . When i was in class 7 , i used to travel in it all the way to Delhi from Raipur . Those days , it used to arrive with Twin Alcos and depart with a ET WAP4 . There were only two AC coaches ! :-D Thanks For replenishing those memories! Were you able to spot someone selling Aloo Bonda in Titlagarh ? :-) At Last , Thank You so much for Sharing ! :-)

Hi Rishi, its so good to hear about your memories...this i guess is the best part of railway travel in India. You get to experience India at her best from very close. Samta must have been a good train then too? Nowadays, it comes ith twin AlCos but departs with TKD WAP-7. Have you been on this route too? Yeah i spotted a few sellers in Titlagarh selling Aloo boonda....alas, couldn't taste any. Lastly, many thanks for taking out time to watch this...please check my channel for many similar uploads! :)

Yes . True. I had been to Puri from Raipur in Durg Puri Express. Return journey was also in the same train . Durg Puri ICE also follows the same route from Titlagarh after coming from Sambalpur untill Durg. I was a resident of Raipur . Yes, it is a Good train . But Too many halts as you mentioned at the beginning of the video makes me think of something else. :-D Even in Dense fog(Winters) , it gets good priority Before Agra , while going to Delhi. PS-In future, If you get a chance to Travel between Bilaspur and Katni , Do try Aloo Bondas sold at Pendra Road . They are good to taste. :-)

Pramit, I've Recently Travelled on the Same Train (12807) (Which Got LHB Fied) & i was completely surprised after watching the Line to SBP at 23:49 where it's been completely Double Electrified. I Used to Travel in this Train Long Back in 2015 (When Classic VSKP Alcos Used to Exist over the Entire ECoR Teritorry with their Lovely Chugging post Robust Acceleration & Historical ICF Bogies) where this has got the best timing btw VSKP & NGP. But Now Not Anymore. I used to Enjoy a Lot Looking at those beautiful Landscapes of Eastern Ghats & many more in the between. Especially Loco Change at Raipur. Now that doesn't Exist Anymore as the Entire Route is Electrified & is been Completely Under the Control of Electric's Right Now. But Everything is the Fate. Every Sad Moments have an Ending & Even Every Happy Moments like this have an Ending. So, what i'ld like to share is this video has completely created an another world of Enjoyment & i'ld like to see many more like this! Loved this Video a Lot!

Pramit Mitra yes the train is special.although it comes from interior of gujarat.this train has a terrific run in WR and CR and a continuous run from BSL to NGP. but since it runs from GANDHIDHAM which is not vry known so rail fans for this train are less
