Ugh. Hearing the radio host talk about herself still years after being directly responsible for that nurse killing herself and being solely concerned with how her life was effected makes me physically ill. Just go away lady.

Because she's supposed to talk about herself at that very moment? Stop assuming she only cares about herself just because you saw a few seconds of her answering some questions. The decision she made was stupid but it doesnt prove she's evil. If she's not evil, you can only imagine the guilt, mistreatment and the harrassment she's experiencing.

@hanix2002 Whilst I do partly agree, they really should've considered the possible consequences of impersonating the ROYAL FAMILY. Really, doing that alone was just disrespectful, and the cherry on top was doing the prank on a HOSPITAL, which houses many who constantly deal with life or death situations; hell made them think a hospital had time to deal with that? I don't care if you expected them to hang up immediately, you really should've stopped then and there once you noticed the nurses actually believing you were them.

@@Mikesusendsadasdc it's the dj's faults for doing this prank without thinking about the consequences of their actions. Not even considering that "hey, maybe it'd be super disrespectful to pretend to be the royal family" or "wait, maybe let's not waste a hospital's time that have more important matters to deal with". Fact is, them doing this INFLUENCED her to take her life, so while yes she may have done it with her own hands, it's the djs fault aswell for doing something so childishly dumb and not stopping the prank when they noticed the nurses actually believing it was the royal family.

it was never that serious in the first place because the "personal info" the nurse released about kate was only the fact that kate was doing fine and she would be released soon. the nurse who ended her life because of that seems a bit odd to me because she left her two children and her husband behind. it just goes to show how people put the royal family above their own selves.

My mom has always said “slow down and always play the tape ALL the way through.” This fits so well with the first case. Ppl have to be able to look at their actions and say should I do or say this. What are the pros and cons if I do this. Learning the 48 hour rule really helped me. If I need to make a decision, statement, response, anything I always try to sleep on it or give it 48 hours! Normally after a little bit of time I realize certain things I can do to make things better. You don’t know how many times this helped me! When I was in high school a classmate/neighbor was a huge prankster. At first they were bit funny but annoying. Over time the prankster became a bit cruel. He intentionally threw a run of lit firecrackers toward me (I wasn't facing him so I wasn't aware), but his twin sister ran between us and the firecrackers landed in her hair. She suffered serious burns and lost an eye. I was among many people that avoided him after that horror. Most of us visited his sister in the burn unit but no communication with him. The family soon relocated and all letters were returned/no forwarding address. (This was 1960s.) Since that experience I do not associate with pranksters and I avoid fireworks. For years I had nightmares seeing her face appear to melt. Actions have consequences. Make adult choices = pay adult prices.

@Nicole Smith .... Definitely a very powerful comment. If I have any hesitation I find it best to say nothing. Just because something may be factual it isn't necessarily my place to say it. One example: My boyfriend and I ran into a friend's boyfriend in a restaurant. He was with another female, they were all cuddly and holding hands - obviously on a date. He actually introduced us to her. He seemed totally at-ease. My friend and I often talked on the phone, at least once a week. I waited until our next conversation several days later and stated 'if you ever see my guy with another female I hope you would tell me'. She stated she would. I asked if she wanted the same. She said no, they were close enough she would 'sense' changes. So I never mentioned it. Within 4 months she was pregnant. She believed they would marry. Suddenly he was unreachable. Shortly after giving birth she called and asked if we could have an honest conversation. She remembered my remarks and point-blank asked 'what motivated that?'. I told her the entire story. Seems he had 3 females pregnant at the same time - one was his ex-wife we met. My friend had to take him to court for child support. He was a fireman. Funds for all 3 pregnancies plus his original 2 children were deducted from his pay prior to a paycheck being issued to him. My friend doesn't regret having her son but in hindsight she wished she had been more aware of the guy's true nature. The fireman decided his only responsibility was child support, his son is grown and never met his biological sperm donor. (I do not believe he deserves the title father.)

For the first one, I don't think the pranksters really meant to cause any harm. They most likely just saw it as something funny and so did the media it would seem. I think this case was just very sad and unfortunate that the victim felt humiliated and hurt because of the prank. My heart and condolences do go out for the victim. But the pranksters didn't mean for any of that to happen and it's obvious they feel horrible for it. It's probably safe to assume that they never will prank again and will be careful with what they do in the future to not cause something tragic again. We all must be mindful with what we do in order to not hurt people.

I guess social media platforms need to have this check. Prank videos like this must be deleted and banned. Nowadays kids can gain access to adult platforms without their parents knowing it and they can see these kinds of videos that make them want to do it as well.. These pranks might bring fun, but not to all of the people who can watch it will be glad.

I think that the radio host should have paid for her funeral that would be the least thing they could do correctly. And I think that her husband and kids should have sued the radio host and got a settlement. Even if the radio host didn't have enough money than the royal family should have paid for her funeral someone who had funds to do so

Personally I feel bad for the radio hosts. The real villain here was all the people who harassed the nurses. Sure it was not exactly a wise idea to do this prank, but the nurse should have never committed suicide over something as trival as this.

its all about the trust... when a nurse worked so hard and felt everyone don't trust her anymore...because of privacy issue not just to a simple person involved but for a famous/known personality...and people mocked and made fun for it... remember she is from India her culture is very different for her it's shame...she may be better work in silence rather be named in Television or socmed😢😢😢😢🥺🥺🥺🥺I'm asian and it's a very big news in my country too...sigh.... but I'm a Filipino I will never take my own life even people from international called us toilet cleaners workers Maria etc...

Where I work we place a plastic bag over a toilet seat to signify Out Of Order, Usually it's done when low lifes decide it's funny to stop it up with paper towels 😡😤. It lead to me removing ALL the paper towels from the restroom in question cause I got tired of dealing with their antics, However someone else put them back..So I'll let them deal with it.

Getting humiliated on that global scale is heinous. You need to be thick-skinned enough or tough or not caring about other people’s opinion or seeing it from a perspective from another side separated from you to be able to continue living and thriving. And the hosts of the radio one of them, the woman talking about suicide ideation it’s just a normal reaction from the backlash. If this situation is not made as newsworthy and people don’t care to comment about it, then perhaps all of this tragedy could have been prevented. I think the media is to be blamed in some respect

Not only that but they shouldn’t disclose private info over the phone either especially with such a high profile patient xx

To whoever who thinks people who take their own lives are ‘at fault’ or ‘selfish’ have obviously not gone through a majorly depressive period in their life, or have never felt complete hopelessness and despair. When people reaches that breaking point, they think that they’re doing a favour to others by taking their own life. They just want that anguish to end, it felt unbearable and no amount of time was going to make anything better. The thinking is very drastic, but it doesn’t make it any less real. So please, please have some humility towards people who attempted/ taken their own life.
