Do you also find yourself struggling to find a new starter for your dinner parties? Bored of your regular tikkas and kebabs? Here’s a South Indian dish to our rescue. In this recipe, prawns are deep fried and tossed with homemade Malgapodi or gun powder which adds an extra zing to the dish.

Ingredients:
100 gm Prawns
50 gm Flour
Oil for frying
1 tsp Ghee
3 Red Chillies
8-10 Curry Leaves
2 tbsp Malgapodi
Method:
Coat the prawns with flour and deep fry them.
In a pan, put the fried prawns and add ghee, red chillies, curry leaves and malgapodi.
Mix well and cook for 2 minutes. Voila!
