Prawn Potato masala is simple yet delicious and, like many Indian dishes, it is packed with flavour. The gravy is quite easy and most of the ingredients are easily available in our pantry this dish is and has always been a winner at home cause of its simplicity. it never fails to surprise me and my guest on how super it tastes every time.
Each region cooks the curry in a different style based on the availability of ingredients, like with coconut/ coconut milk, kokum, tamarind, onion and tomatoes paste, some also make use of ground masalas.
List of ingredients
25 large prawns
2 potatoes chopped
2 medium onions
Chopped coriander leaves
Few slices of raw mango
1 tomato chopped
2 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp turmeric powder
Salt as per taste
2 tsp ginger garlic green chilli and coriander paste
2-3 tsp oil or as required
