I was at the doctor getting a transfusion. Before the medication, my pressure was taken 3 times;188/130, 182/131, 186/129. I immediately prayed with my mom. I just got the phobia again today and feel hopeless, but this prayer helped me a little. Job stress is high, and I gained 30 lbs, but it was a bulk. 6 months ago I had readings of 115/68 to 125/70, but I was on the verge of being severely underweight. Today my readings were 140/90 plus. Currently taking a low dosage of a diuretic, but I am tempted to engage in my previous behavior of exercise anorexia, where I would make it a point to under eat and over exercise leading to perpetual caloric deficit. Now at age 56, I weigh 195-200 at 6 ft, and feel dysmorphic at this weight, while about a year ago I felt dysmorphic at 163 lbs, and people I new were concerned I had cancer or another health problem. I pray frequently and think about God, especially during the travails at my work, in order to overcome anxiety and other fears. Not suicidal as much now, because I do everything to avert evil thoughts entering my mind. I also have the theory that everyone’s blood pressure will be zero over zero on earth when it is their time to join God in heaven. I also live by the biblical passage of Not Loving The Things In this World too much or to not love body too much. Maybe it is my time via this disease and I have to accept my circumstances, because maybe I will soon be with Him, if I make it or I am accepted by him. My prayers go out to you all and I know it can be especially hard for someone 25 or more years younger than me. Up until 1990 the threshold was 140/90 and I had that for quite some time in my late teens and early 20s At this point, I am probably going to try to limit my low intake of salt even more, cut weight, or ask my doctor for a more potent medication. The cutting weight part is hard, because if I do, I will expedite the muscle mass loss that already is occurring in my age bracket with or without strength training. Hope someone out there can send me a prayer 🙏, because I am perpetually confused, but am less scared to die than say 20 years ago, when I was unlikely to talk to the Lord.

Amen!!! I had developed a type of high Blood pressure. Mine usually is very low, but since 5 months ago y about five episodes of kidnapping took place in my neighborhood, one house away of mine, so I started registering 150/100, ( I feel i was going to die this day) 140/90, 130/90 which made me to feel really bad. Last tuesday special forces took over and both sides fought with gun machines, right behind our backyard, so again I started to feel bad but not able to go to the doctor, so last night feeling bad again I found this wonderful prayer!
