What a wonderful piece. I saw you at our school on Friday performing for us and we, Australia are so lucky to not be affected. I had a question what are the physics behind the pitch of the slapaphone?

Thanks very much and yes we are extremely lucky to be living in Australia. The thongophone/slapaphone is made of tuned lengths of pipe, the longer the pipe the lower the pitch. That’s the basic physics behind it :)

Thanks, it’s a rig I made with rgb leds which I preprogram and run through an arduino and each lighting state is triggered via a foot pedal. I’m trying to design a rig that is reactive rather than preprogrammed but I’m just increasing my coding knowledge at this stage
