So things have to change. Prayer has to become the central and main part of our gatherings. It has to outweigh all the "entertainment" aspects such as presentation & preaching, which can even represent the intrusion of our culture into our relationship with God. This is going to cost. There will be opposition, especially from those who value position more than relationship with God. No doubt when you were watching, you began to get annoyed at the intrusive adverts. The longer you watched, the more they tried to dominate. This is an illustration of what will happen when you choose to get serious with God. It will be a battle. But it will be a battle that with God's help we can win. And it will be a victory that having won and won again and again will be so well worth the price we pay. Just as Jacob worked 7 years for each of his wives & it seemed to him like nothing, so the cost will seem like nothing compared to the benefit.
