Father, give me boldness to share Your gospel with others no matter what troubles it might bring! You said if they hated You, they will hate me. Open their eyes Father to see You! Save those who are lost!

I like what David said 3 minutes in or so - I usually pray for God to take my troubles away - and that is how all of us one time or another have prayed. The slightest discomfort to the soft life of ease many of us live in this western world irks us. We are not concerned as those who are tortured for their faith far away, yet it is this type of BOLD faith that keeps the ball rolling, and SNOWBALLING inspiring others onto a similar faith, so the gospel spreads and grows in what we would call a rock and a hard place. We cannot avoid the tests God brings our way, they are for our own good. Pastor Miles shared that message today and it's a good one for those who missed out.

Amen, the good word, good ending. Also like Christopher says no one is out of their mind praying for trouble, there is a balance, yet we need to prepare ourselves, as culture attempts to silence and shut down our voices and what God has to say, for if they listened then they would have to be accountable, and when you are lawless, you really do not want any laws or standards in your way, hence the removal. Come quickly Lord Jesus, rapture your church, Maranatha!

I really like the last statement and admonition. There is a balance here. I don’t think we are called to seek out trouble or affliction, but we should not fear it and recognize it often comes with living in obedience and sharing the gospel. We also recognize affliction helps us 2 Corin 4:17

Good message. Sunday sermon based on Joshua, "as for me and my house we will serve the Lord". Very inspiring along with the Lord's Supper. Great day yesterday
