When Speaking in tongues for 3 hours daily for 40 days God revealed to me about the pandemic and persecution of the church. He prepared me for it in all areas . It was the best time of my life . Had intense fellowship with God , visions dreams , miracles , souls won to Christ through that time .

I’ve been praying in tongues for 3 hrs each day for a few days now. I recently started experiencing extreme arousal as soon as I start praying in tongues. It so crazy and it made me not want to pray because of how intense it was. I didn’t think it was demonic. I asked God and this video was recommended to me by YT. the onion analogy is good. You were talking about being hurt as a kid over and over. It built walls. Walls are built in layers like onions are. That's the same as strongholds. Strongholds were layered stone fortresses in the natural world analogous to repeated offences to our hearts causing a resistance to God's penetrating love and truth.

Praise God brother! Dave Robersons book is one of the most important books you could read. I moved to Tulsa to sit under Dave for almost a decade. The enemy, from the beginning has tried to cancel out this gift from God. Paul right away had to straighten the church out regarding tongues due to sensationalism and pride. I love how the Holy Ghost goes for the root of our deep seated strongholds, enabling us to see them clearly so we can break the chains of bondage.

The Word, Blood, and Tongues is our lifeline. We need all and is better when in intercession for self, others, or- where Spirit leads. Apostle Paul,Bob Jones & other generals of faith prayed in tongues non-stop. Heard stories how they prayed when awake or asleep. Jesus likely prayed more so because only said & did what the Father was doing. Tongues are good if you cannot turn off the world. Voices in both worlds speaking. I believe it is a crucial gift because why would God give it. It does launch you forward by helping get rid of junk. The devil hates tongues since it is our part of our connection.

Oh wow I think you answered my questions. I have been praying alot in tongues lately. And ive had some dreams that are not good😳 Some demonic attacks where Im fighting evil people. Also Ive had some lustful sexual dreams Im very disturbed 😳 And lastly my tongues changed after 1 week of praying in tongues throughout the day evedyday. Yes the more you pray the more something of your flesh will get highlighted you will start to think of it much more and not realise why, you may even be tempted to do things you haven’t done in a long time that are ungodly. This is Holy Spirit trying to remove the things we have buried. Simply resist them and then acknowledge they are apart of you and that you don’t want them anymore and Holy Spirit will do the rest

How do you know if it’s yourself making this up or it’s the Holy Spirit ? I love pastor Dave and that book was amazing. I pray in tongues but immediately devil comes giving me doubts that it’s just me making it up because I don’t feel any different and it feels like it’s doing nothing. Hopefully god knows my heart and knows I don’t want to just make it up.

The bible actually says “behold” things not “ALL” things, if you check the original language. But when you say ALL things, what defines the word ALL? On Calvary my body wasn’t made new I still have the same scars? Yet your saying ALL things. So now the word ALL is no longer ALL things just what you choose to fit into the word ALL

It is true that the more time one spends in Father God's presence, that unconfessed sins, often small sins or long forgotten, are brought to the fore so one can confess and ask and receive forgiveness. However, the Holy Spirit does not purge (clean out) one, the blood of Jesus cleanses one. Praying or speaking in tongues is a gift of the Holy Spirit and given for edification and for revelation. "One who speaks in a tongue speaks mysteries". It is man's spirit communicating through the Holy Spirit with God our Father. The Word of God is like water. It cleanses you as you read it. I hear what you say but I think you are using wrong words and can cause misunderstanding. One should not neglect the reading and study of the Bible just to spend hours praying in tongues.

​@@cornellenoch1314 i believe you may misunderstood what he meant, it is true that the Blood of Jesus purgues us, but the Spirit of God Holy Spirit helps us to overcome the works of the flesh.. and that is the worksof the flesh or even like he has mentioned ancestral or blood line curses or habits. The Blood of Jesus saves us and sets us free but it is our responsibility to pattern with the Holy Ghost to break these habits like lust or lieing etc through the Blood of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit brings these sins to our memories and says hey this doesn't please the LORD you have got to deal with it. And that is the purguing he mentioned. Read Romans 8,1 -13 then you can disagree even Paul mentioned it in Romans 7,19 it is the Holy Spirit through the purguing process who helps us understand the good and the bad.. if we yield to Him and partner with Him we are able by the Blood of Jesus Christ to break and destroy the stronghold of sin and evil patterns
