Assassin bugs are pretty brutal. I had a pet praying mantis once and when I fed it an assassin bug, I awoke to find the Mantis dead, having been stabbed by the Assassin bug.

It really depends on the angle the mantis grabs the assassin bug. I've seen them kill and eat assassin bugs, but they'll get jabbed if the head isn't immobilized. The mantis has a better chance grabbing from the side or from behind.
