If I was a standup Comedian I sure would have a lot of material on the driver's there not getting out of the way for a fire truck. I really don't know whose worse the people out in California on the highways or the people driving in NYC. I am consistently amazed how New Yorkers in general embody the adage "Hear no Trouble, See no Trouble, Speak no Trouble" as they go about they lives. I mean no urgency in getting out of the way of the units heading in, people just casually walking the bike down the middle of the firefighter area and on and on. Was also intrigued by the crowd standing behind the command post. I mean maybe that always happens but this one seemed to stand out to me for some reason. Musta been tourists or something...

Because fire is extremely sneaky, it likes to hide in the walls especially in a high-rise with large cavities containing a lot of oxygen and potential fuel. It’s always better to have more fire fighters and equipment and not need them than need them and not have them 🙂
