Pre 2024 Hot Rod Power Tour maintenance for Rust Revival Garage C10!

For long time viewers of the channel, you may recognize this little square body long bed C10 as one we helped Rust Revival Garage do a repower to a couple years ago. Well after a few years of enjoying the truck, he decided he wanted to come along on this year's 2024 Hot Rod Power Tour! So it's in the shop for us to give it a once over before hitting the road!
There's no denying the appeal in the Hot Rod and Classic car world of the square body Chevy truck, and this one is a good clean driver example. It's not a show stopper, but it's a good honest daily driveable hot rod truck that can put a smile on your face, and destroy tires at the nudge of your right foot!

I think the way you have it jacked is loading the control arms.Jack up under the lower control arms and shims will fall out

you should go find cars you have done major repairs to in the past and see how they are running today. i would love to see how that trans am is doing you rebuilt the 400 for.
