I bought an iBuyPower prebuilt last Christmas, sported an i5-13600KF, 3060 Ti and I upgraded the RAM to 32GB from my previous build. Thing is rock solid and even after overclocking the CPU with XTU I've had no issues. Good stuff. Word to the wise, if your case is the Hako Slate MR then take the front panel off, your temps will go down significantly.

Stumbled upon your channel great and helpful recommendations. 20+ year clueless console gamer splurging on my first gaming PC (couldn’t be more excited). My only goal is to play AAAs at as high as possible fidelity and fr. W a $3000 budget got my decision down to 3 choices: Lenovo legion tower, Alienware R15 and Corsair i7400 lines. Ultimately went with Corsair i7400. RTX 4080, i7 13th gen, 32gb ram for $3266. How does this corsair stack up against all the custom prebuilts that’s out there? Should I feel good about my decision? I had no idea there are so many cool looking custom alternative options!

My PC is a heavily modified Skytech prebuilt. In chronological order, I replaced the RAM (1x8GB to 2x8GB), Added a 2TB HDD, Replaced the Fans and added a Fan Controller (TT Thunderblades to Corsair ML120 Pro LED with Corsair Commander Core XT), Replaced GPU (RX580 to RX6600), and, most recently, Replaced the Case (TT Versa N21 to Corsair 4000D Airflow). The motherboard (Asus Prime A320M-K), CPU (R5-2600), SSD (512GB SATA), and CPU Cooler (AMD Wraith Stock Cooler) carried over. The Keyboard/Mouse that came with it became my secondary keyboard, while a Corsair K60 RGB Pro and Logitech G502 Hero is my primary HIDs (Human Interface Devices). If I make more upgrades, I'd max the RAM (2x16GB DDR4-2666), upgrade the CPU to a newer generation AM4 Ryzen 7, and then lastly upgrade the CPU cooler to an AIO.

My very good friend just bought me the sky tech archangel pc it was $899 and I absolutely love it!!! It’s only 8GB but if I wanna upgrade in the future I can and he just bought a nzxt pc for himself and my pc from Amazon came perfect no scratches no bumps no bruises…. His pc however from nzxt never turned on he took it back they said it had a very large scratch on the back and the GPU pins were very heavily damaged…. That’s crazy tho because mine was from Amazon and it was perfectly fine and his was nzxt I thought his would have been packaged better or something 🤷🏼‍♀️

And it’s really good and I haven’t gotten any other games except for valorant but haven’t installed it yet cuz I don’t have anyone to play with and for the rest of my games I have remote play for my ps4 and I think I can play my games that way but as far as games I pretty sure it can run any game Apex fortnite minecraft gta 5 etc.

Ddr5 in a single stick is basically dual channel. 2 sticks in a program that checks you ram shows it as quad channel. So he is partly correct. But 2 sticks of 8 gig ddr5 will always perform better than a single stick of 16 gig of ram by maybe 10 to 15 percent. With ddr4 , 2 sticks is a definitely leaving a lot of performance on the table. Do your research on youtube and you will see for yourself.

I got to ask, Isn't it better to get the Intel CPU with a K on the end of it, Like say the i5 12600k, Even with a GPU why isn't it a good thing to have the IGPU on the chip?? Plus the overclock ability even if you don't overclock, Having the overclock ability mean the CPU is going to last longer?, Or built with stronger process lol, Stupid question but some one got to ask, lol, Saves me researching it... Still though I wouldn't buy a CPU without a K on it myself, Just because I do think a CPU needs an IGPU regardless, It just makes sense, and the overclock ability for the boost clock factor.... Some alright deals here on here.... I would still only put my own together, Though I do understand why people would buy a PC already done...

Looking for a pre built for apex legends:) I have a laptop right now with an 11th gen i7 and a 3060 i have a 240hz monitor and i’m looking for an upgrade in terms of overall performance and have a budget of like 1500-2000 my current laptop runs apex at 220ish bouncing back and for to 190 but i run it at 165 fps on my monitor. For $2k, if you shop smart & wait for a sale on what PC you're looking for, you should be able to come up with a decent PC. Realize, however, that it's $2k for the CPU, keyboard & mouse. Don't have a monitor? There's another $300 - $450 for a decent monitor.

would you recommend for someone to buy the NZXT player three prime? i’m new to PC’s, never had one before (only a gaming laptop) but want the best of the best (intel i9 13th gen 13900kf & nvidia geforce rtx 4090) and only have £4,000 (even less is better) budget to do so. i’m a little skeptical about NZXT warranty policies as PC’s are very fragile and if it breaks or anything comes loose etc i wouldn’t know unless it’s generally obvious as i have no idea what i’m doing and if it was to break i’m afraid they wouldn’t offer a refund etc and would just leave me with a broken PC & £4,000 short. i just want to be able to have a PC working right from the box, guaranteed warranty/refund/return policy with the specs i listed above. please help. thank you

Respectfully, I think your info on RAM is a little out of date. I believe you're losing a lot of performance in single stick DD5 RAM these days and is on par with dual stick DDR5. I believe Linus did a video on this. Check em out. It's worth the time. .

They are processors I think. The i9 is best. i5 is worst.

They are Intel processors - each level you mentioned has an array of processor speeds/capabilities within them. Suggest that you take your question & put it into the form of a search query, and start looking. I'm sure someone has already provided exactly what info you're looking for.
