After composting onsite for more than a decade, Bloedel turned to Green Mountain Technologies (GMT) to develop a larger, cost effective, and more efficient solution!
The GMT design resulted in savings of almost $500,000 In construction costs.
GMT’s Pre-Engineered ASP uses pipe-on-grade aeration, allowing you to compost on an existing level surface. To meet a variety of size constraints and capacity requirements, we offer this system in four different sizes. Systems can have anywhere from one to eight zones per control panel, making it a cost-effective solution for operators handling 500 to 20,000 tons per year.

Really nice set up. Do you find you need to monitor and regulate moisture too, or because it’s in the bay for just 3 weeks would you just adjust moisture when transferring it to the next bay? Great concept to have the pre-engineered package! ASP in a box!

We're so glad you like it! It's suggested that moisture is assessed at certain times throughout the 3 weeks and can be adjusted a number of different ways. We like to get up close and assess it by feel.
