I have put a few bikes for MOT in N.Ireland and not may checkers go into such detail. It is always handy to know what to look out for though incase they do decide to do a full inspection and for your own safety. Bike parts are not that expensive and relatively easy to fit with a few KZbin videos. Sand any rust off and spray paint it as well.
