The new Nord looks great but TBH, I'm completely satisfied with my C2d. There's another leslie sim in there that I haven't found in any other Nord: the 145. While I like the 122 options, I think the 145 is nicer and probably more slept on. I hope Korg comes out with a new Kronos. Ideally, a module or tabletop device along the lines of the Korg M3 that I can fly with. I have heard great things about the Universal Audio sim so if that comes out in pedal form that might be a safer, more easily accessible device to get in North America. Might be worth checking on them at Namm to see if they take that step.

Well, regarding the neo ventilator, I suggest someone re-engineer it or find another possibly better alternative It’s probably not that much involved Chip and Pc Circuit board wise

Same is true for basically any FX pedal. Particularly digital ones. The key challenge is creating an FX algorithm that is realistic and that people find compelling. Nord has put a lot of research and engineering into their Leslie sim, yet at least up until this point most people claim the Ventilator is still better. So it's clearly not a weekend project to make a good Leslie sim. Personally I stopped using my Ventilator from when I got my Stage 3 and C2D as I find the built in sim to be on par, although a slightly different flavor. But I keep the Ventilator around for my real B3. There are also some really impressive software alternatives. I actually just got the new one from Universal Audio recently and I should try to compare it with the Ventilator some day. Universal Audio is getting serious about guitar pedals, so it is not unlikely we might see a version of this plugin make it into a pedal some time.

Please clarify for me. Isn't the korg kronos 2 been out for years now with the wooden cover panel on both side. Why releasing it again? Or you meant to say korg Kronos 3? I'm confused. Thanks

I’ve owned both of those keyboards the first one and the one with the wood sides. They don’t really call the one with the wood sides the two model they just call it Kronos they’re actually coming out with a version two

@wheatworkspro wow, that's very new to me because I have the kronos X and in all my research, everyone in the industry call the wood side one the kronos 2. Even a Google search to buy one shows all the sellers calling it Kronos 2. But now I understand. Thank you for the clarification

I think it’s over priced! Especially since You have to buy foot pedals that’s gonna be about another $2500 really U buying a 7k music equipment and you not driving yet because u can’t afford a car.

The Nord pedals never really did it for me…but there’s a Jazz guy in FL named Joshua Gold….saw him play the pedals that he designed…I purchased immediately to use with my Nord C1. They feel more like real organ pedals. Try them…they are too nice for about $650 vs other big products

It’s actually a simulator that gives you the Leslie effect so it allows you to plug it directly into a PA system or any other system so you don’t get bleed from other instruments

The new nord organ 3 doesn't sound as it should pr better than any nee organ considering the time they've had to improve the sound. Still sounds way more digital than others

The C3 is nothing more than C2D that costs $1000 more. Very disappointing release; they could have done so much more. They should have just copied the XK-5.
