The Chopin, in particular is just beautiful. Wish I a)could win the lotto and b)could learn to play like this. Truly the BEST pianos ever made.

My goodness. That was some of the most transparent and sparkly treble I've ever heard.

Fazioli has a pleasing transparency of sound, very clean. I would not immediately prefer it over other excellent pianos which may have more complex voices.

What year was this built? The Fazioli F278 of today (Spring 2022) has a much different arrangement of crossbars in the iron plate.

My recollection is that the piano in the video was built in either 1998 or 1999.

Plate design owed a wee debt to Bechstein's long-discontinued EN-280 model. Does it have separate hitch pins for each length of treble wire?

On a scale of 1 to 10, where would this be? On the same scale, where would a Steinway be?

The pianos available at Piano Works make every choice an realistic option for the discerning performer, from daydreaming about your perfect piano, to actually acquiring an instrument that is a pleasure to play. I value the input about other brands that previously I would not have considered. I still have my sights on a perfect grand in my future...there WILL be a day when the payments are possible and my practice time justifies it!

The treble is better than the bass. It shows up especially in Liszt's Mephisto Waltz

Dawn Echols , I really hope you get your perfect piano. Might I recommend two books to fuel your fantasy? "Grand Obsession" by Perri Knize, and "The Piano Shop on the Left Bank" by Thad Carhart. The stories are nothing short of erotic.

You perform a very credible rendition of this piece. I, personally, find that Fazioli pianos have little colour to the sound. I much prefer a Bechstein or Steinway. Thank you for your wonderful performance.

Just the same as the Bechstein. I mean, Steinway and Mason & Hamlin are but a handful of pianos with rich colors. How come no one is accusing Bösendorfer of having a colorless pallet?

Very nice sounding grand. Some one had enough smarts to put a carpet under the sound board. SO MANY shops and owners neglect this and get a room "Too acoustically live"...enemy of good sound (musical instrument, HiFi or Home Theatre).

Presents with great clarity, each line is heard quite clearly. It's a bright piano also and it has an excellent sustain in its singing voice. I personally, however, don't have the emotional connection with it that I do with Bosendorfer, Steinway, Yamaha, Shigeru Kawai, Grotrian Steinweg and others. But this is an absolutely superb instrument.

Brandon Callaway, thank you. What a perfect comment. I hereby adopt your remark into my own mexican. Steinway has certainly played several crucial roles in grand piano history, but mostly, of late, it has been a ruthless marketing force. Musically, it has been put to shame by Bechstein, Bosendorfer, Grotrian, and Bluthner...and heavenly Fazioli.

High notes are perfected BUT lower(bass) notes sound bit lack of bass, I love Bosendorfer more than Kawai when I play higher notes BUT I love Kawai more when I play lower notes and middle notes. Steinway and Son's sounds too imperfect when you play many notes at once, it is perfect to play solo songs, because every key tell something but when you ad more keys then you will hear imperfection.

The build quality alone is worth the price of this piano they use the same would a Stradivarius violins. Comparing a Steinway d to this piano is like comparing quasimoto to the prince
