@@GT-bx1jp many things he might be doing; skate placements, stick touching ice first (depends what end faceoff is being taken), comment to ref, moving in prematurely... Players get thrown out all the time, I do agree it seems like it happens to him more than average, but that extra % I think can be contributed to him doing it on purpose.

Any infraction to the rules that the refs can see should be called, but, with the league trying to keep the regular season game times within the three hour window for TV schedules as the fans there don’t care how long the games are the refs have no choice but to keep the play moving and let infractions occur.

Season is too long, lots of highs and lows and parity has a lot to do with it, any team can win on any given night. It is like a lottery for the holy grail, how the staff play the cards dealt to them and the momentum a team has at the right time.
